I got a call from 309-827-5401 just a while ago.  Don't know who it is yet.  Maybe it is from Capital One (they've been calling recently, so that's my guess).  I paid all by bills on time, so don't know what they want.

I got three calls today from this number. No message no caller ID (?!)

(714) 374-8035, (951) 243-2302, (309) 827-5401...I know two of these three numbers are definitely Capital One so I am pretty sure that the 309 number is them also. The thing is, I am up to date on my bills so I really don't know why they would be calling to "collect". When I answer the phone it is always someone with a heavy (I'm pretty sure Indian) accent. I think they have outsourced the phone calls and are re-routeing them through random US numbers.

If anyone gets a call from NCO from NJ report them to the Federal Trade Commission. NCO is a supposed debt collection agency who has been using unethical and illegal practices. Go to the FTC website.

Got a call from the number-did not answer as I NEVER answer calls from people I do not know. Possibly Capital One- I do owe a small amount... Which I will be paying soon as long as I am not harrassed!!!

Called 8 times on Saturday from this number and another 6 times on Sunday from 559-332-2306. I am late on my payment, but am trying to negotiate in writing since I can't seem to reach anyone that doesn't speak broken English.

I keep getting calls from 309-827-5401, 562-483-7846, 714-374-8035, which seem to all be from Captial One based on complaints.  They never leave a message and call all day long.  I answered once and they are looking for some one I don't even know.  I told them "Don't know him, stop calling" but they continue to call.  I do not own a Capital One card and never have.  And I can assure you I will never have one due to excessive calling.

Got this call on my cell phone which no one except my husband has the number.

The (woman with heavy accent) was looking for a Tiffany O'Dell.

It is Capital One. They like to use Random Numbers to Catch people off guard. I like to save the numbers with Cap 1, Cap 2 and so on.

Just called me also. No message but when I called back message said Capital One but wanted my card number. No way I am giving that over the phone.

They have called me twice today so I called them back. They say they are Capital One and want my card number. I do not have a Capital One account so then they asked for my social security # and I am not giving them that. I eventually hung up while on hold for a customer service rep because I have other things to do. I'll wait until they call back and then I'll rip them a new one!

This 309 number is defanatly capital one. I got a call from them and called them back and got thank you for calling capital one. Then hung up.

I got a few calls from this number.  Automated recording was left on my voice mail "Capital One has a new offer for you" or some nonsense like that.

I keep getting phone calls from this number at my work phone number. I don't give my work phone number out, so when I get these types of calls, I know they are telemarketing. It's a recording that says "Hi, this is Linda, please give me a call to discuss benefits and deals from Capital One" or something along that line.

It's a telemarketing call from Captial One...When they call me they leave a voicemail, which is "Hi this is Linda, call me to hear about some benefits from Capital One." Don't know if it's a legit advertisement or if it's a scam...I don't call back ever.
