Someone from this number called me twice today, I answered and no one was there.  When I called back, a verizon message said that the number had been disconnected or is no longer in service.

I too received two calls today about an hour apart. No one  responded when i answered both times but there was some clicking or disconnecting type noises    
I will not answer again.

got 2 calls one around 4 one around 7 ish. Answered first time but no one answered. Missed the second attempt. I have Cingular

Been getting the same thing. About 3 times since this afternoon. When I answer, I get a few clicks then disconnect. I tried calling back and just got a Verizon message saying the number was disconnected. Reverse look-up yielded a land line in GA... impossible.

btw, I just noticed some of you are getting this call in San Diego. I'm in Los Angeles, or more specifically, Torrance, where the area code originates.

I got the call three times and when I pick up, it hangs up!

I am in san diego, ca and have gotten this call 3 times todays and have never gotten a call from this number before. i ihaven't picked up at all no vm's from them either...getting annoyed! i am on DNC list.

I received a call three times today; the first two I missed and they left no voicemails.  The third time I answered, and it was a female who asked for me by name and stated she was from some group that sounded like "powder puff" and wanted to know if they could count of my vote for Obama.  I blew the call off, but it really disturbs me... I am on the DNC list as well, and I also have Verizon... have no friggin' idea how they knew my name, but it worries me more as I think about it.

My friend got the call between 6-8 hours ago as well. He is also from San Diego.

I had received 5 calls last night from this number but wasn't around my phone to answer them.  This morning I received a call from them again and it was a woman asking if she could count my vote for Obama, she was from some group called Power Pack.  I told her no she couldn't and then she said that this call wasn't paid for my Obama's party.  I am on the Do Not Call list so how can they get away with calling??

I received 4 calls- 3 yesterday and 1 this morning. I live in LA and have Cingular.  It appears from the above post that it must be from a group called Power Pack or Powder puff, lol, who are looking for votes for Obama.

I live in Santa Clarita (n l.a. county) and have received 8 calls in the past 24 hours  I have ATT cell service.

Also received 5 calls within the last 24 hours from this #... haven't answered any of the times. Also living in San Diego. I have been receiving numerous calls from this number as well as several others found on similar boards like this. So much for Cingular's DNC list...

3 calls in the last 12 hours. no voicemail.

add me to the list... i've gotten at least 5 calls in the past 24 hours. Anyone solve the mystery yet?
