I was at work so I didn't answer the call.

I called the number back but was a recording "you have reach short tell please leave a message", of course I did not leave a message, I do not know who or what company this.

Went to recorder....heard noise in background.....call released after about 15 seconds.

Called my cell phone at 5:50PM.  I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.

Tried to return call.  As previous poster has already stated, call goes to a ShoreTel messaging system.  Mailbox is full but gives an option to enter an extension if you know one.  I didn't try.

The 310 area code is in Los Angeles but this number is unlisted.

The number called me at about 12:00,
didn't answer due to it being an unfamiliar number,
I've also recieved a TON of spam text messages, not from that number, but during the same time.

Also got a shore tell message,
but I'm going to f*** with them and keep hitting numbers till i get an extension that works.

I filled out an online request for loan rate info. Luckily, all my info was false except my phone number. Anyways, within 20 seconds of filling the info I got a call from a representative of FHA.com. Stupid me - thought I was at the FHA.gov sight. I'm usually pretty diligent about all of this stuff. Anyways, the number is a mortgage group.

Also didn't answer cause I was at work, but I had also just filled out a loan quote.

It is a 3rd party collection agency that also deals with bought liabilities and assets and then collects on them

Just got a call from 310-209-8000. I didn't answer it based on your entries, so thank you for posting this unwanted phone # here. They didn't leave a voice mail. 10/4/08, 11:23 PST
