I received this phone number on my TRAC phone that was not turned on. I find this weird...and can not find out who this is coming from. This is the 2nd time I have received calls from this number.
I called the number back and always received a busy signal.

I had a call from this number, the first of about 4 calls from various numbers in the last few hours. Whoever called didn't leave a message....

I received a call today from this number 310-209-8599. It was shortly after completing an online application so I suspect it is related to that.

I called the number back, the recorded message said that it was an information verification service related to an online application, and no further action was necessary. Then leave a message at the beep

I received a call today from this number 310-209-8599 asking for a person I had never heard of.  I verified the number they were calling and they provided my number.  I asked what they were calling about and they said it was related to an online mortgage request that had been filled out.  Told them to put me on their DO NOT CALL LIST.

How many of you think these people are actually getting our telephone numbers from the do not call list?  I tracked down my annoying caller on Intellius. Nationwide Business has them using their home phones. Some of these people are listed in public records.  Try writing them and telling them to stop (Intellius gives you their HOME address).  I firmly believe in posting their information on line since they believe in using our information to annoy us!

This isn't a telemarketer; the number belongs to a financial lender.  They call the number you have listed to verify it is operational.
