It's a market research company in Beverly Hills. I answered on a whim and they signed me up to be in a focus group about cell phones. We got to test out new products and talk about what we liked/didn't like about them. Then we were paid $100 dollars to do it!! Answer the call you won't be sorry

Just got a call from this number on both my home and cell phone.  I ignored the cell and picked up the other one.  It was a guy calling from Mini Cooper about being involved in a survey.  I like my Mini, but I like it less after being bugged on a saturday afternoon by them.  The guy was kinda a jerk too.

This is Adept Consumer testing, which is a wonderful market research testing company in Encino/Burbank/.Beverly Hills.  You CANNOT get onto this database without giving your own information --either through doing focus groups in the past, like from ads on craigslist or Jen's List-- or signing up with the company.  They pay you for your opinions.

Yeah definitley take this call.  I made $150 for tasting and talking about Ovaltine, and another $75 for going to El Segundo and playing a new version of Scrabble (which is one of my favoite games ever and I'd have paid THEM to play it!!)  I've never had a negative expeience with them.  Even when they've called and I dont qualify for the survey, they are very polite.

I was called by this number and was asked if i was interested in an arts education. Oddly enough, I attend an arts school. They told me if im qualified i'd be paid $80. Im excited :)

This is a telemarketing company which is of course trying to sell or sign you up for something. All of these reviews left here are made by this company so that you trust them next time you call. It is not really a smart idea to put fake reviews on your own business because it will create a suspicion that something is wrong. Stay away and don't give them any information

This is a fake company. Once you sign up they'll call you about upcoming surveys. They ask you 20 or so questions, then inform you that you don't qualify. But they won't say why, just that you didn't meet the specific requirements to make it into the survey. Even though they say the reason they called you in the first place was because you "pre-qualified" for the survey. But they still got a ton of free information. I fell for this five times before I figured out how full of crap this company is. It's a massive waste of time, you will never qualify. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

I agree but for other reasons. This marketing firm as well as a couple of others are only interested in certain ethnic groups opinions as though no other ethnic groups are consumers of certain products. Do not shy away from all research firms. There are some who realize that all opinions are valuable.

This is not a scam.  They run product and consumer testing for companies.  They paid me $175 gift card for a two hour questionnaire on fashion.  It is just test group/target group testing.  The person who said it was "racist" makes no sense.  The specific company was marketing to a specific group and wanted that groups opinion of the product.  Read more about it at their website and decide for yourself if it is legit.  Companies invest thousands of dollars into advertising and marketing.  This is a way for companies to do a "test run" at significantly lower cost before it goes to market.  Just like you can fill out the questionnaire at the end of your meal receipt and get a discount for your next meal, this is just a tool for feedback.  If you fall into their test group, then you can get easy money for simply your opinion.  http://www.giveusyouropinions.com/index.php

Got a call today to be in a focus group, pay of $250. This is legit. Sorry i couldn't make it,  location at a local venue but a few miles too far for me.

You are right. I NEVER get to actual make any many at their focus groups because "I don't qualify" yet spent tons of time answering questions to qualify.
