Called on Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. I didn't pick up because the number was not known and the Caller ID showed "out of area". I called the number and got a recording that the "number was not in service". I suspect a scammer/telemarketer.

I just received a call from this number at 2:08 pm today.  They hung up when my machine came on.  Caller ID showed "California" which in my experience is an ID that comes through when I'm called by some local cell phones.  The post above seems to indicate that the number is spoofed.  Telescammers are trying to get sneakier by spoofing numbers that appear to be local to those they call.  Not gonna work on me.  I don't answer ANY number that I don't recognize.

Called at 0900 today.  She identified herself as 'Briana' and said she was trying to call me 'for months' to see if I wanted any work done on my home.  I asked if she were a criminal scammer and she hung up.

Called at 9:30am Sunday. Caller claimed to be following-up on a previous call where we supposedly asked him to call back regarding home improvement work - a total lie.

Received a call at 9:30 am this morning.  Every Sunday we get this call, and no one answers.  Did a reverse call look up on white pages and found this number comes from Hawthorne Ca....the name of the caller and address.  

Rapists with hammers, or at least that is how you should look at any business that you would let LIE & DECEIVE their way into your home to HOPEFULLY, hopefully ONLY CHEAT YOU OUT OF SOME MONEY and not actually do any more harm than that.... such as ripping your home apart and never coming back again, creating dangerous living conditions, bad electric, bad water, leave your home susceptible to pests, harm your family, harm your pets, steal your possessions....   losing some money is THE BEST thing that can come of this.

HERE'S THE THING... Their caller ID number is fake, the name they use when you ask them about their company...IS FAKE...and you may or may not ever TRULY KNOW who you are doing business with.  By the time they're in your home.... they're just RAPISTS WITH HAMMERS

Got a call 10am, didn't answer, no message left.  Glad to know that it's some scam contractor caller and I can go ahead and block it.

this is a myriad of invalid numbers that call everyday for years...  How does this work?  How can they utilize false phone numbers on caller ID? What purpose does it serve to call and not answer or leave a message?  Are they trying to determine if anyone is home?  Is this a call center machine glitch?  Blocking hundreds of numbers will not fix this problem as it will simply rotate to the next random fake number.

These people call me every other day and when I say hello they hang up. When I try to call them back a recording comes on saying this number is not in service. Very annoying!!!! Same number calls me. Caller ID says out of area.

I get calls every few days around 10  in the morning.  If I answer there is no one there.  They don't leave a message.  It is very annoying!

caller claimed that they had spoken to me a few month back about home improvement/estimate. When I asked for a contractor license number the guy said he didn't have handy but would be happy to show it when he showed up at my house. When I asked him again for the license, he hung up. Obviously NOT a legitimate business.

Wow!  Didn't know I could google a phone number and get this info.  So helpful!  I now have blocked this #.  

These scammers have been calling me for a few months, two times today alone (it must be important, huh?) they never leave a message.  AT&T CID says “out of area”.  

The number appears to belong to Sandra Gonzalez of Hawthorne, CA.  Her exchange is managed by MPower Communications Corp of Las Vegas, NV.  MPower is not accredited by the BBB and has numerous complaints filed against it.  MPower caters to telescammers ... so, if the number is not spoofed, Sandra Gonzalez (if that’s her real name) is a big illegal telescammer.

Added to my blocked list.

Calls just about every day and leaves no message, this time I decided to answer. After a few seconds delay a lady said that her company called LAST YEAR (pfff as if) to ask if I needed work done on my house. Told her that I DO remember and also remembered that I told her company not to call, Apparently they did not remember that. Thank You have a nice day.... and I hung up.

Called, didn't leave a voice mail and hangup.

"The number you have reached is not in service, this is a recording."

Art from the Home Center calling to see if I need any repairs.  Told him I'm on the do not call list and my spouse is a contractor, don't need or want their services take me off the list.  He kept talking and I finally hung up on him.
