Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

https://www.straighttalkwirelessforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6803&t=55006 - Ron4th call in two days. Recording claiming to be the IRS advising of pending lawsuit and callback number. I called just to hear the scam. A guy actually answers the phone with "IRS, what is the phone number we used to contact you?" I then proceeded to advise him I was aware of the scam and reeled off a series of expletives and discussion of his parentage before telling him to never call my number again. I received another recorded call the next day at 6 AM. I've now blocked the number.

- M&MHSame. Just received call. Caller ID listed it as "out of area," however, after intimidating message was left,
the 310-362-4433 number showed on Caller ID. Message claimed I was being sued by the IRS and was
told to call 310-362-4433 Why would the IRS call ANYONE? Especially, when multiple people live in a
household. Who is the call intended for ? They can't provide a social security number? I suspect that was
probably the information they were after.- Caller: IRS
- Call type: Debt collector
