Not sure who is calling me

some one had call, stating they are the Nasional Tresury. i think they have seen one movie to maney. it sound like the person is from India. is telling me tresury is swing me and need more info. i cours him out and i call the ph # on my screen.   i spoke with some one with very bad maner. like i owe him a living. usually goverment will send letters. but this call sown more like hackers.

Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

This is a telemarketing number and a Mr. Cooper left me  cell phone message to call...something about the US treasury.  If you get this call do not call them back as once you have called them they can legitimately call you again!

"This message is for Rosemary this is Kevin from the league of-listeners-of(?) US treasury and the reason of my call is to give you a verbal verification in regards to law enforcement actions which has been taken against your name. So if you're busy to call me. Like to have your region attorney to call me back as soon as possible. Again the number to reach me is 3103625540. I repeat it's 3103625540. Thank you so much and have a nice day."

Received this voice message on 8/20/14 and the following message on 8/18:


Voicemail from (202) 864-1361  
"This message is from Department of people affected(?) by next second you receive this message I need you to leave you work-welcome(?) site i-dial(?) the number the number is 2028641361 now. If you please return the call or an case if I don't hear from your attorney either the only thing what I can do with this deal and happy life as a-lawn(?) enforcement off your fees(?) will be sold at the door step. Thank you."

Do not bother calling.  It is a thief who faked a phone number.  No police are coming.

Like Rosemarie Arendall above, I found on 8/7/14 in my voice mail a message from (310) 362-5540, a Mr. Cooper claiming to be in Legal Affairs of the Treasury Dept. and calling about legal ramifications for me in a law enforcement action taken against my name. The rest of the message was identical to that left for Rosemarie.
NOTE: I checked out the above number (on the reverse phone look-up website), which turned out to be a land line for CPC Southern in Lynwood, CA 90262 but did not manage to get the name of the owner.

Then, today on 8/21/14, I also received a message from (202) 864-1361, a woman with a foreign accent who made word for word the same (garbled) statement to me. I pretended to be just my voice mail.

It is clear that a group of telephone scammers know each other and are coordinating their efforts but to what purpose? Hopefully no one will fall for their scams!

said I was in big trouble as I owed $ on my taxes which I don't!  rick brown who sounded very Asian also used the # 909-999-5417 with the same information

Received this call garbled and obviously scammers.

Got a call to advise me that he worked for the Treasury Dept. and wanted to inform me of a pending lawsuit. I said this is just another scam but insisted NO and it was really important I take down this number 310-362-5540 and ask for Jason Brown then no, it's Ray Brown. I said sounds like you can't remember which name to use. I asked who gives him his paycheck. Initially he said on behalf of the US Treasury. When I pressured him as to whose name was on the paycheck, he hung up. What a scam.

I just recived the same massage two different times. Its a scam. Dont waste ur time woth them. How do we report them??
