I thought I recognized the number but didn't get to the phone in time, so I called back right away:  only to get a recording saying "sorry the number you reached is not in service, please check the number and dial again."   BIG  "gotcha"!!!!

Okay - just letting you all know there's a new scammer calling people - I got this call at 7pm.

Transcribed from the voice mail it left -

"What is your gender? Female press one. Male press two. ... I didn't hear you respond. Are you still there if you're still there please press any key on your phone now. Once again if you are still there please press any key now."

I don't know who this is, but it's undoubtedly some kind of scam.

Showing Out of Area, they called 3 times in 6 minutes. on April 4th between 6:32pm  to 6:38 pm.  I was on another line, & didn't answer.

Called 10 to 15 in the last two days.

They called three times in a two hour period, on a Saturday morning. Karma will get you for me :D

Got a call at 3pm Sunday afternoon, didn't answer, no message left.
After reading the above comments.. . . BLOCKING forever!

3 calls in 2 days; Friday evening, Saturday morning & Sunday afternoon. Why do telemarketers bother???? Does anyone say, "Oh, I was hoping you'd call, and yes! you have just what I want. I'm delighted to have a stranger about whom I know nothing come into my home to give me an estimate on some work I do not want or need"?

I call back it says: "The number you have reach is not in service, please check the number and dial again"

Says it California Public Opinion Surveys. Caller ID says Gardena. Looks like they have called multiple times in several days. Scammers. Probably related to 626-544-5520 which identifes as "Research Center."

This number shows up when a "Survey" is asking for automated instructions.   When I called it aid that the number is not in service.  This has happened several times and now I have blocked them.  I really wish I could find out who is calling as the survey company and report them.

Some phone companies allow you to create block lists via a web page.  If yours doesn't, you might want to switch.  There is no shortage of phone companies these days.  Heh.  I'm using Voice Pulse and am quite happy with them.

seriously 5 times in 1 hour???? LOSERS!

Called 8 times in last 2 days.  No message.  

I have received dozens of calls from this number in the last 2 weeks. It's driving me nuts.
