They called my mother's cell phone asking for me by my whole name.  My mother said the man who called sound foreign with a filipino accent. She said she asked him if he wanted to leave a message, he said okay. She then asked him to hold while she get a pen, he was not on the line when she returned. She would like to know how did he get her cell phone number.

I'm thinking they poss as a company and post ad on Careerbuilder , I applied for a job and sent my resume which I have done many times before, this time it was odd, they reply to my resume the same day. Of course I have my contact information now I have this 310-425-0907 calling.  The job was  as posted as  Non for profit careers/ Jobs for THE FUTURE IS AFRICA .

They called me today at 1:17 pm and asked for me by my full name. I asked who was calling and she rattled off a name and a company in broken english, possibly an asian or hispanic accent. She asked me if it was me that she was speaking too and I once again asked who was calling. (I learned from debt collectors calling my phone to never admit to being yourself when people call asking for you unless you know that person or number.) She then said really slow, I think Karen Lopez, and when she paused before repeating the company name again, she disconnected the line. I applied to a non-profit organization off craigslist last month and I think that is the only way they received my cell phone number.

A woman called me at 1:57 on May 18th.  She spoke in broken Englis and was very vague.  She said she was from some company and said it so fast I couldn't understand her.  I asked her to repeat it and she replied the same way.  Everything after that was hard to understand so I just said that I wasn't interested.  I have been getting a lot of phone calls lately from people that just hang up.

Also just got a call from this number.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I hope they don't call again.  Not sure how they got my cell phone number.  I don't have any listed phone numbers.

I got a call today on my house phone from this number. they asked for my wife by her full name. The caller id showed backbone commun and the number. The guy said his name was Jose Mendez and wanted to speak to my wife. I asked him who the company he worked for was and rattled off in broken english about a free concert and Donald Trump. Iasked him if he just said Donald Trump and he said yes, Donald Trump the billionair. So I hung up.

I got a call from this number, ignored it, and no message was left. No callback was possible--it didn't ring. I hate these kinds of phone calls; they are a waste of my time and disrespectful of privacy.

Got a call too, no message left, will not ring through on call back. I read your entries and then used USSEARCH to try to find the owner of the number. What I got back was

  Los Angles, CA    just outside Culver City.
This looks like the location for which the phone was purchased and not the true owner of the phone.

2 times yesterday 2 times today, I pick up and nothing, I call back and nothing.
No voice messages from them. going to not except anymore

Twice today, twice yesterday. 301-425-0907 Culver City, CA.  Guy said he was working on behalf of NBC.

On May 25/2010  I received 2 calls from this number.A lady with broken English was trying to get me to go to a Donald Trump seminar In Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. she was rattling of different venues trying to make me commit to attending one of them I finally got rid of her by telling her im sorry I am goin g on Holidays for two weeks To Mexcico and she said thank you for your time and hung up.  my Rogers telephone Provider had the nerve to charge me. .30 CENTS For each call

I have also gotten a phone call from 310-425-0907 on Wednesday June 9th at both 12:51pm Minnesota time (10:51am LA time) and 4:59pm Minnesota time ( 2:59pm LA time). I didn't pick up the cell phone I just let it rang and they didn't leave a message on voicemail.

Recived several phone calls from this same number (310-425-0907): 2 to 3 times each on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.  When call back, the number does not ring.  No voicemail left by caller.  Based on other posts, sounds maybe scammers attempting to obtain credit card info.

They have called me 2 times today and so far have left no message.  I just make it a habit to not answer calls when I don't recognize the number.  They are also calling my cell and the only ones who have it are friends and family members as well as when I send out a resume as I have been doing for the past 15 months since I was downsized from my last job.

Left Message for me stating my name, saying, helloo, pick-up, my name, are you there...? I don't know the number or the voice.
