I got this call too.
I'm getting the Police involved.
So far this number uses Verizon phone service.
Also report to FCC.
We need to report to get their phone lines disconnected.

Called here, I said hello like 3 times, no answer so I hung up. A couple of minutes later I tried calling someone and there was still whatever automated message tying up the line. Didn't pay attention to what it said though, I hung up again and waited so I could use my phone.

Thank gawd for telemarketers or my phone would not ring at all!  This one was a recorded message for property in Colligwood....maybe I could move then change my nummber?  Meh, then they'll just try to sell me property in Hamilton!

just received in halifax.  I said hello a couple of times and hung up when rec'd no response.

An automated message left on my answering machine identified the caller as House Capades. They are looking for homes to feature/sell on their TV show hosted by Mike Bullard. A local 416 number was provided to have my number removed from their call list but I can't quite make it out.

It seems from reading the postings that phone number 310-455-6048 is being used by both "Collingwood Resorts" and "HouseCapades".
There are three call centres in Collingwood that I know of because I have had to contact them all.
Here are phone numbers for those call centres, I suggest you please call them and request to get your phone put on the "Do Not Call List". For Georgian Manor and Mountain Springs:
1-800-486-0485 they call it reservations desk (only takes calls Mon-Fri.starting 12:30am to 9:30pm). Phone extensions are #239 for Marketing , but you can key in extensions 237, 225, 245 and 243. Another number also for Mountain Springs is 1-800-704-8633.
Also marketing calls come from Carriage Hills 1-800-379-6716; and
Cranberry 1-800-465-9077.

Websites can also be used in addition to ask them to remove your phone number.
For instances, go to HouseCapades, key in an "x" in the fields so that it lets you Submit, for requested e-mail address, just give them their email address so you can submit.   Same goes for Cranberry Resorts, can send them an email on their website.
Also, when the call asks for a mailing address and phone number, give them their own mailing address and phone number so it loops back to them.
Also Complain to the CRTC about this.

I don't know if there's a connection, but besides this 310-455-6048 number, I get calls from this number
250-260-3907.  
I've found out it is Service Quality Measurement Group (SQM).
The toll free number to be put on "Do Not Call List" is 1-800-446-2095.
They also have an email submit form on their website.

Keep records of solicitation calls.
After a 30 day grace period and they call again they may be fined by CRTC.

I did reverse phone lookup.
Can't get the person/company's ID without paying.
This number uses telephone service "Verizon".
I've already emailed Verizon to complain about this number.

It would help if others would contact "Verizon" too and make a complaint about how this number is being used.  
310-455-6048 is a California number.

Got a call from same number a few minutes ago - I am in Halifax.  I tried calling back but says number is out of range.  Hmmm!

Just got the same call here. My little boy answered and pressed buttons then hung up on them. I hope they heard it.

I got the call in Mississauga on Sat at 9:25am from the number 310.455.6048 & it was Housecapades!!

My suggestion is to report this to CRTC as well as to CONTACT HouseCapades Directly and tell them to STOP!!!

I am tied of this company disturbing my family ...and now they are calling on the weekend!

I get call from 310 455 6048 and from a 410 area code number every week, sometimes twice a week. The caller never says anything and hangs up after I say hello two or three times. I have never had them try to sell anything- they are silent and then just hang up. It is really annoying- someone needs to get a f'n life.
