Just received my first call from this number in CA. Googled it right away, at least I know now it is just some loser and not anyone I know.

Anyone notice that every post here has the same tone and language?  It feels like every comment was crafted by the same person trying to create the illusion of many posters making the same point.

I too live too live in Ontario (Brantford) and I have been getting hangups from 310-455-8061 but now I'm more weirded out by this site than I am from the phone calls.

The calls are not so much a mystery, just an automated system collecting data on the time of day you answer your phone.  That information is sold to other marketers who use the data to schedule their calls.  The question is, who is the company committing this privacy crime and who are the companies that are using the data to improve their call center efficiencies.  That makes every tele-marketer that calls your home a suspect!  Is it Bell?  Is it Rogers?  Is it all of them?

I have received that call on august 14 at 1.08 p.m. When I pick up phone and I several times was asking hollo, and asked who is on line nobody unswer. My phone # is 905-281-8325 I received coll from # 1-310-455-8061

I too have been receiving numerous calls from that number. Hang up calls, no messages and then finally a partial recorded message was left. That's why I just googled it and came across this site. The partial voicemail message I received claimed they were doing some kind of promotion and are in my neighborhood this week. That part I found extremely amusing since I live near Toronto in Canada. There's a few thousand mikes between Santa Monica, CA and Toronto, ON. Very weird in deed. I couldn't make out at all what the company name was. They are persistent and annoying if nothing else calling my house at least 4 times a week.

Glad I found this site and will bookmark it for future reference.

Uh....I don't think its a mistake....been getting these calls on and off now for a few days....it only rings 3 times and disconnects....my number is a 905.....also living the the Greater Toronto Area.

I have also gotten both those numbers call me... Never answer when they call tho.  Do you by chance have Mountian Cable Phone Services??

I have been getting these CA calls- 310-455-8061 since earlier this summer. And even the Yukon one, too. It has to be a misdialling going on. When I tried to call back the CA number- once it rang a few times then a voice would come on saying: the number you have reached is not in service.
Technology- strange but true!
I'm glad I found this site now because I knew of people in Pleye Del Ray and also other parts of CA and was wondering if it were a payphone perhaps.
I live an hr. from Toronto. My latest CA call received was Aug. 21.
