310-455-8061

I got a call last night, after I answered, the other end hang up.

Got the number recorded on my voice-mail. No message, just static. I am in 905 (Mississauga) area. I think I will add 1-310 to my screening software to automatically answer it with the "federal law" message to remove me from their calling list.

Also got a call from this number july 29 around 8:20 p.m. thought i heard someone say hello but then nothing - they hung up.

Also received it this weekend; tried dialing it and got a fast busy signal

Forgot to mention that I'm also in the 705 area code, in the Muskoka area.

I too got a call from 1-310-455-8061 I am in 905 area

Have been receiving calls from this number for past 10 days. Calls are all from same (310-455-8061) number. Never leaves a message. No reply when phone is answered and someone here says 'hello', 'hello'. All we get is static. Ma Bell says the 310 area code is Santa Monica, CA. We are in the 705 area code near Barrie, Ontario. Puzzling.

i recived a call from 1-310-455-8061, i answered it, said hello and when no one replied i hung up, right after that i dialed a number, picked up the handset, and heard what i belived to be a message being left, i hung up the phone right away, not wanting to distub the message, i waited, and no message was in the inbox, not sure if it was an important call i tried several times to call it back, getting busy signals everytime. but i got through once, it just kept ringing and ringing, how bizzare, well i am glad i saw this site, because now i know it was not an important call

I just received a call a few minutes ago from this number. It is the second call I have received. The first one I received was July 22, 2007. When I called the number back it was diconnected, that was July 22, 2007. I just called the number back now and it just rang about 20 times, no one answered. The reason I called back the first time is I was in Santa Monica in May for a few weeks and I though it might have been one of my friends or relatives but the number was not familiar. I just think that this is a telephone scam of some sort.

Add another one to the 3-4 times a week 905 based numbers.  Hit both my home and business lines.  Nobody there if answered.  Calling back doesn't do anything, no ring, nothing...eventually call can't be completed message returned.

This California number has appeared 20 times in the past 3 weeks. No one at the other end, and one leaves a message. Number is now blocked you should do the same. Everytime I call it back I get a rapid busy tone. Why are they calling so many in ontario???

I just got a call from this number also and the recorded message asked if I wanted a three month break from paying bills and payday loans.

When it is hissing static, it is probably a fax trying to go through.

Next time it calls me, as it has called before, I will "press 1" for more information. If you d so, please post results here!!

My sister's picked up the phone at 7:11 pm EST and no one was on it.  When I asked who it was, she said it was from California.  My sister doesn't use the phone much so i asked how she knew it was from california, and it turned out to be the display name.  I thought it was odd to get a phone call in that area when I live close to Toronto.  I called back twice and received a busy signal.

called me at 1:54 pm today. same number as all of you have mentioned. I too am from the 905(hamilton). I traced it to santa monica, CA. landline. verizon.

thats about it. Im tryin to dig up more info on the number.

I just got another call and have received many. No one talks and it is usually around dinner time when they call.
