Goodman - 16 Aug 2007I've gotten these calls for a while now, I never pick up and they do not leave messages. I am in the (905) area code as well, Hamilton, ON , I am thinking of blocking all these numbers as well, is there some way of doing it without a huge cost ?

Wise Owl - 16 Aug 2007I just received this call again...I too live in the same place as you, the reason they don't answer you is they are monitoring what time you pick up phone so they can call back and harrass us. I believe this number is working for Future Shop or the Brick etc. etc. they are their credit agency, they usually asked why you have not used your card lately, your credit is good bla bla bla. I have my phone on cable now, and one of the features is you can block this number for free...so I just did that, and will continue to do so for all the other annoying people who don't pay our phone bills to use our phones for their own purposes.

T.O - 20 Aug 2007Just got a call from that same number, kept saying hello but heard nothing. Tried calling back and it's busy. Then called back over and over, the same happened. Then I finally heard the phone ring but then it goes to busy. I found that strange. So I googled and found here. I live in a 905 area.

Kim - 28 Aug 2007We are in the 705 area code near Barrie, Ontario like another poster and I've received the same call but I had a name, it was "Sarah" who could help fix my credit/ debt and/or consolidate my bills/loan if "I pressed 1 for more information" of course.
This is the 4th call over the past month or two.
Tonight's call was at 7:13pm EST.
Glad to have the same problem as all of you - lol! :)

905 Area Code - 20 Aug 2007Just received a call from this number again. I have received about 10 calls. I don't answer numbers I don't know. I called this number back and a recording came on that this number not in service. I have also called this number back and just get a busy signal. This is weird.

someone - 22 Aug 2007I live in Toronto. Been getting lots of long distance calls from U.S. and Canada. Last one from 1-310-455-8061 on August 21, 2007 @ 7:30pm. I said "hello", he said "hello", I then said "who is this". Finally after 15-20 seconds, he hung the phone up. Sounded like the same guy from last Friday night. Same conversation; I said "hello", he said "hello", then hung up. I think it's the phone companies that are behind these calls so that we subscribe to additional services so there profits increase. Like I had to pay to find this number. Somebody with the expertise and know how should look into this.

ehehehe - 22 Aug 2007This number just called and left a message saying they were House Capades and apparently advertised on the Fox Network. Have gotten a message like this before and called the number, only to get a fax machine in the Yukon or/and a fax for a company in British Columbia. How these people can commandeer just any phone number is beyond me. Bell says it is not possible.

Argh! - 24 Aug 2007I've gotten countless call from 310-455-8061 in the last month, up to as many as four calls a day on occasion. I live in Hamilton, Ontario (south of Toronto), 905 area code. Most of the calls are always during business hours, but I have received a couple calls after 7pm.

Drak - 25 Aug 2007ok don't call or use mike bullards email, I used to work for that show, it was cancelled rather quickly (thankfully I was an intern) and that address posted by "same as above" is real. I also recieved this call, my id says Unknown nunber, Got curious about it, googled it and whammo.

curious the cat - 25 Aug 2007I am also in the GTA with a 905 area code and just received a call from this number. They reached the machine but left only a static blank air message. Now I googled it and oddly found all you others. This is very strange. How many of you have computers hooked up and left on? I have a sneaking suspicion its something to do with that.
