Called cell.  No message left.

Called landline. Got a recording that it was a very important call about my credit card. Man with an accent got on phone and said he could lower the rates on my visa chase credit card. Told him to give me the credit card number of the card he had in question and he gave me the first 4 numbers and I told him I didn't have a credit card with that number. He then asked which credit card had the greatest balance and he could lower the rate. He said he was working with Citi, Bank of America, Chase and other credit cards. I told him I didn't know who he was and asked what his name was and told him to take me off the calling list and he told me I was asking too many questions.  I got an attitude with him and he told me to keep the lower rates and keep paying the higher rates that I deserved them then hung up on me. Scammer just trying to get my credit card number.  I have been receiving calls from a 310 number for awhile but just hadn't answered them.

Called Cell, & left no message. Returned call, & no answer or recording.

Super scam

Telemarketing robocaller called my cell. This is the lower your credit card interest rate scam back in action again.

scammer called; didn't answer it; blocked this number from future calling.

Caller ID shows City of Santa Monica, so wonder if this is a spoofed number. Got a robo-message about lowering my credit card rates

just got it 2 minutes ago.  Called back from land line and got a busy signal

unknown caller and no message left. said santa monica ca on the caller ID. I think scam caller.

Called my cell at a very inconvenient time, so I sent it to voicemail.  No message left.
I'm so grateful for this site and those who identified it as the ol' credit card scam/scum.
I've developed a whole new level of dislike for them.
Again, thanks to those of you who wrote in.

They called, I listened to the automated message, then got transferred to a guy with an Indian accent, who offered to drop the interest rate on my Visa card. He proceeded to ask questions, and I answered, until he asked for my card number. When I refused to give it to him without calling him back to verify his identity, he tried telling me "it's just a serial number used to identify your account" and that since it's on the monthly statements, it's really not secure info, he's not allowed to ask for secure info. I refused again, and asked for a number to call him back. Which I never got.

called me bout 10 mins. ago...tried calling back, bust, or no answer came here and found it's a scam..tell everyone you know...

Thanks everyone for posting, just got a call on my cell, no message. Good to know this is a scam!

This # has called 92 times today.  It started at 9AM my time and the last one was 5 min ago.  I decided to Google the # before answering.  As I type this they are calling again.
