- JasonLike I said before concerning all calls from credit one bank, they don't answer the phone, they don't care about settling your debt, yhey just want to harass you, you can try communicating with them but you get no response. they can care less about the money you want to pay back, they get off on harassing you.The number one thing with them is to harass you otherwise why would they not want to work with you! you get to the point where you cant do anything about it. what a sleezy company where the main objective is to make phone calls on your cell phone and take up minutes and not let consumers make payments to them. there main objective is to try to wreck and ruin everybodys lives. They will be happy once they accomplish this.

- Sunshine55| 3 repliesCredit One is such a strange company. I am going through a consolidation program and I owe 900 to them. Letters sent calls made and they still call on different numbers everyday from all over the country. Now I would say that is Strange- Stupid and just weird. Is it a trick to talk to someone. I did answer and spoke to someone on a different number and said that they should get paid soon, that they are working with my creditors to pay. He said he would make a note- but it did not stop all the many numbers they are calling from. My question is why all the different numbers? I am going through a hardship and they will get paid, I am not trying not to pay them. But with the HIGH interest how can you do it on your own sometimes. Finally getting back on my feet as a single Mom and this Credit One is not a nice company. But they can call all they want, that is what blocked calls are for. If someone calls and I don't know the number leave a message, but they don't.

- RockinProfessor replies to Sunshine55I lost my job 2 years ago and at my older age people are not exactly in line to hire me, even when I have had same trade in construction for 40+ yrs and know my job inside-out. Actually, my job slowdown began around 2005 and it finally ran out of gas due to the economy. CreditOne was the very 1st credit card I obtained, primarily to be used for emergencies. Well, nothing is an emergency like being unable to find adequate employment. So I had to decide whether keeping a rented roof over my head or trying to pay down high interest cards was a choice. These card co's are insured against loss from defaulting accounts like mine & all the others. Either that or they can write most of it off. Of all of the credit card co's who call my #, Credit One seems to be that one who never gets tired of the pursuit....Eventually they all give up and quit the harassment so I can handle the annoyances as long as it takes. If someday I win the Lotto I will settle up with these folks I think. I think.
- CamiAnn*I answered, was verbally abused, told me I had told him I was (man's name). I'm very female... And don't even have a debt. He became rude and hung up, not before intimating I was a liar.

- J. Jones replies to Sunshine55| 1 replyWhat this company will do is use numbers from all over the country. They will use one number multiple times and when you don't answer, they will choose a different number. Eventually they will start using numbers within your area code thinking you will be more likely to answer those numbers. I've told them numerous times that I will not answer a number I do not recognize and their best option is to leave a voicemail but they never leave one. I too am having a difficult time financially and they are always rude, harrassing, and disrespectful. When I call to make a payment, they do not want to work with anyone. They've even gone as far as to ask me if there is anyone who I can borrow money from and they ask when I get paid and why my rent, utilities, etc can get paid on time but not their bill. I try to be nice when I talk to them but it never does any good because they belittle and disrespect everyone from the start. Yes, I've fully acknowledged my responsibility to pay what I owe and have explained to them numerous times that I have financial struggle and they do not care. I told them I would pay as I am able to and try to schedule post-dated payments but they will not even do that. For your sanity, I encourage you to pay this debt off as soon as you are able to so you never have to deal with them again. I wouldn't waste your time answering the call either. I know it sounds bad but they will just make you angry.
- ADenneyThey call me every 20 minutes from 8am-9pm every day since November. I lost my job and looking for job and have told them as soon as I find work and get some money, they'll be the first to get paid, yet they still want to harass me. Even blocked other numbers they were calling from and they just call using different numbers. Wished I never would have gotten a CC from Credit One.

- DfWorse service of any credit card. Reported them to consumer finance protection bureau. Never do business with them. You can never close the card because they have fees for everything and will never work with you no matter what. Mostly Indian phone room reading scripts.

- HARRASSEDALEX COLEMAN CALLS SEVERAL TIMES AND NEVER LEAVES A MESSAGE. One time I picked up the phone and he said don't you know who Alex Coleman is!! Also call comes in early in the morning before 8:00 am

- bobdid not answer, no message, seems to be one of a string of similar calls, must be a scam
- Michael B.Trying to rebuild credit and (MISTAKENLY) got a Credit One card. Charged one night at a hotel for work and now, after a $70 night somehow I owe $400+ dollars......HOW?!?!?!?! No one ever leaves a message and the one time I did answer, some guy who spoke no English, asked me all my vital info yet couldn't tell me who was calling or why! Ive paid the $$ for what I owed and have disputed the other charges, they refuse to admit fault or admit the card has been hacked. Credit One is a total scam on people trying to rebuild themselves!!! Dont like the negativity Credit One...have the courage to leave a message and deal with your inadequacies your "company" instills!!!!!

- Anonym replies to J. JonesYou say you've told them "numerous times" that you will not answer numbers you do not recognize - but how? You seem to be doing so, if you're telling them so many times, but they never call using the same number?
I feel for you - I really, sincerely do, because I have been where you are, but with legitimate debt, such as medical bills and things like that, during Reganomics in the early 80's. It's horribly frustrating, and enough to make you want to shoot somebody sometimes. We were in such a state with two kids in 1981 through to 1983 or 1984, that we actually qualified for some food stamps, a subsidized apartment, and other assistance of that nature for over a year. But things actually did improve after a while, and now it's all just a giant nightmare. You will find your way out of this quagmire eventually, and be free of these bloodsuckers forever. And they will eventually go out of business for lack of customers. Bless you.
Yes, I got called by these vermin as well, but my difference is I have never had a credit card through them or anyone else - by choice. I have no idea why they would call me. I am disabled, haven't worked in at least five years - I honestly don't recall when this new nightmare began, but I have my disability check every month and my husband's income and no debt other than the house, so we get by. My condition is such that I didn't have to plead my case more than once for Disability, and it took only four months from start to win for me to get my benefits, so I'm not disposed to taking on any new debt. So, even were they emmisaries of the very Angels themselves, I wouldn't be doing any business of any kind with them.
