Someone named "Jessica" with a horrendous hillbilly accent said she needed to go over some "forms" with me before finalization and left this number.  No other information.

I received a call from Erick Freeman, A G A and associates somewhere in Florida, stating that they had an old collection account in his office and if I don't agree to pay the outrageous amount he would file a "lawsuit" against me in 3 days. He refused to give me his company address or his clients name...

I just received a call from AGA 310-622-4972. Who are  these people? Should my husband return their call?

I also received a call from this Erica Chick, very unprofessional. Saying they are filing suit against me and want me to verify my SSN. I told her I am not verifying anything, I asked her to very their client and her mailing info and she refused. So I hung up on her.

I got a call from this number 310 622 4972 too and they are claming they can file a 1099 C form for collections .. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and the Attorney General of Florida .. BEWARE this office is a collection company and they are running a scam ..

I received the exact phone call from the exact person you spoke to. Eric Freeman. I called back and he responded with he needs to pull his computer screen up to be able to see what it pertains to. Then preceeded to ask me what area code and number I am calling from so he can pull up the right information...I wouldn't give it to him and told him he should have that being he has called my number and left me a msg. Now I was returning his call so he needs to give me a clients name and this "SO CALLED" breech of contract that was broken. Of course he gets on the defensive and says he doesn't have to speak to me and he can file papers. Papers to what I would like to know?? (laughing hard at this :)) I told him, "No he doesn't have to speak to me so don't call my number EVER AGAIN" especially since he could not provide nothing to me unless I gave him my phone number that he had just called twice on his own, 1 hr before I returned his call. He ends up getting mad and hangs up. LOLOL If anyone gets a MR. ERIC FREEMAN calling them from this number. Ignore this person and file a complaint as I tend to do exactly that.  Have a great day!! :)

I, too, received a call from Erik Freeman AGA Associates.  My caller ID said this call was from 1-408-426-8920.  Very abrupt message on my phone about an affidavit that is about to be filed against me!  I got an answering machine when I called back.

Thank you for your input!  I'll remember not to verify any personal information with them!

I received a very abrupt phone message from a man named Erick Freeman from AGA Associates.  He said he needed my immediate attention to an Affidavit that was being filed against me.  When I called back, I got his answering machine.  My Caller ID said the number was from 1-408-426-8920

I received a call from a man names Eric Freeman. He said the name of his company was HEA & Associates. He said he needed me to call as soon as possible because he has an affidavit in his office that is going to be filed against me ?? the caller id the first time was 213-785-3649. second time was 888-316-6088

I received a call from Eric Freeman from AGA & Associates 310-622-4972 or 806-939-7510 telling me there was a tax lien on me and wanted my credit card number to pay him $300 dollars to take care of this. He would not even email me the documents he was talking about. I told him to send me the paper work and I would show this to my attorney. He said he would even call my Attorney....LOL..So I hung up on him.

Everyone...here's the lowdown on this @$$clown.

After getting a similar call from Eric Freeman at AGA and calling him (told me that he had an affidavit for an old debt totalling over $2300), I ran a free credit report. On one of the reports from the "big 3", I found that a credit check had been run on my name today from a compnay in SC. After calling that company, it seems that Eric and his band of nimrods are semi-legit...however, they are trying to collect on debts that are AGES OLD!!!! The person that I spoke with at the company stated that they purchased a debt from 1996....seriously?!?!?! According to him, it will not affect my credit, as the limitation on reporting it has long passed. However, they are still trying to see what they can get.

WHAT KIND OF A COUNTRY ARE WE IN WHERE COMPANIES CAN BUY OLD DEBT AND GIVE OUR PERSONAL INFO TO F***ING MORONS TO TRY AND COLLECT IT?!?!?!?!

I just recieved a phone call from AGA and Associates telling me that there was an affidavid that was about to be filed unless I agreed to pay them $2700 for a debt back in 2002!  He would not give me his name or web address and informed me that he knew I had the funds to pay this debt since I had other credit cards with open lines of credit.  I, also, got the whole talk about filing the 1099C form with the IRS and how they would garnish my wages and attack my tax refunds if I didn't set up a payment plan with them.  I, of course, declined and the guy abruptly hung up on me!  Can they really do this?  I have excellent credit now!

The guy said he was collecting on an old debt, one that I didn't recognize.

I too have been victim to this nonsense.. I am 27 and the debit they were referring to was from 2004 and I was like 19 then. He stated that I paid for the credit card all the way until 2008 that was definitely a lie. I feel so stupid that I feel victim to this but thank God I was able to cancel my account and move all my money before they were able to process any payments. I also changed my number so they won't be able to get in contact with me again. I am about to file a claim with whomever I need to about them because this is ridiculous and someone needs to put a stop to these lies that they are telling.

I just got a call from Eric Freeman claming to be working with AGA Asscoiate, and telling me that i owed $9,615.25 to Citi bank back in 2001, which is a lie cuz i never had any account with citi bank of start off with in my entire life.  That [***] Erick Freeman said if i dont come to a setlement agreement with them today that they will File a 1099C with IRS, when i asked him to give me their company physical address he refused to provide that to me and said that was not important.  So when i told hom that i was a federal agent and that our phone conversation was being recorded and that i was going to look in to this company AGA Asscoiate and trace his number down he quickly ended our conversation and got off the phone.  Be careful of these punks and dont not give out personal information to them at all and hang up the phone.

I got a call from these people. Eric Freeman from A&G Associates call back# 310-622-4972. But call came in on 404-492-5121. They left a message about some affidavit and debt to the IRS, and that I need to make payment immediately. This is a scam. I have excellent credit and own nothing to anyone especially the IRS. Don't fall for scams if this is legit they have to mail you something. My address has not changed for over 7 years. I don't have anything debts!

We to have received a call from Eric Freeman stating he was from AGA and associates from a Los Angeles but came up on caller Id as a 405 area code. He stated he was going to do a 1099c9 for the IRS. I am assuming he gained access somehow because I activated a credit report a few days ago. However, since then other companies....like a mortgage company out of houston, tx......and COAF company out of Texas. Neither was authorized to access my credit! What the heck! Why is my info out there for anyone!

Sorry I guess COAF was legitimate....from buying a vehicle....but I don't know about any others. But I am just really upset about being threatened.
