Wasn't able to get to phone to answer and called back, Automated voice says "We detect errors coming from your PC" hung up, and blocked the caller. Obvious scam
also says caller is from Torrance, CA but is calling from Los Angeles

This call comes through to me often.  I am on several DO NOT call lists.

I just got a message on the answering machine from this number saying the same "We detect errors coming from your PC..." It is an obvious scam. First, we don't have a PC. Second, PC's don't send out errors, unless the PC's have a virus/malware. Third, one's PC has nothing to do with one's phone number.

CID: California Call - 310-634-0009.  Didn't let it ring enough to go to VM & I didn't pick up.  If it's about tech support about your computer sent them errors - it's a scam.

Keep getting calls from this number. They will not leave message.

How are three [***] getting phone numbers???  I think this number is also associated to 1-949-596-7486. Irvine, CA.  They say their with the U S Treasury and say legal action is being taken against me. How can we report these idiots??????

this is a scam - they pretend that there is something wrong with your computer - which computer they can't say - and try to get you to feed them information so they can "hep" you". I got to get them to push me up to a supervisor who decided I was lying to him when I said I don't own a dell brand computer.

Called me 4 times today about computer.Called them back and denied calling me,was nothing about computer but about my wife getting Fu**ed. Not even married! Dumb assess!

This number has been calling over and over . no messages left and when I called to ask who they were with the man would not tell me just went into a bogus script about problems with my PC. They have been harrassing me for days

Called my cell phone for my father I am on the national do not call list.

Repeated calls about my pc which I don't have sending a virus to me not to my computer but would make me sick. What a joke. As usual our dimwit legislators have bowed to lobby groups and let a do not call list mean as much as as a campaign promise. If I could find the address then bang zoom.,...we should be able to pull a real address from this number.

An Asian Indian guy looking for "Nickel ass" He said he was looking for his boyfriend. Wanted to know how long I had this cell number. I wouldn't  tell him. Just convinced him he had the wrong number- after I messed worth him a bit.

Left me a message about a tax suit against me and that I should call them the IRS immediately lol.

tech support scam

This one was good. He called 5 times no answer. I work in the 310 thought maybe it was a work emergency. I call the number back. He answers the phone "hello." I'm like "hi...who's this? You called me a bunch of times this morning." "Oh yes, I'm with Microsoft. Can you hop in front of your computer right now?" I went off! "If you WERE with Microsoft, do you REALLY think you'd just be answering the phone hello? This sure sounds like a scam!" "No ma'm, your computer is sending all sorts of error messages and they must be addressed right away!" "Well, I actually have IT people that I pay to deal with this stuff, so I'll call them." "Well, just give us their number and we'll call." "No. If you really were Microsoft, I don't think you'd be quite so desperate. Leave me alone and stop calling me."

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

This number called me with the ASSOC scam. They make you go through the command prompt and show you your "personal computer number" which is not. They claim it's "Microsoft's Networking Department"
When I asked for an employee ID it was very clear he was making it up, said it was PFICD112.
