Has called twice, california area code

310-693-2912. Call-back yields a recording for a performance arts call center that is looking to hire "enthusiastic people with beautiful telephone voices".  I assume they got my number from either my local theatre, ballet, opera, or symphony--all of which require phone numbers for online purchases.

totally got two phone calls from this place, happy I didn't not pick up as I did not recognize the number.  Also, I'm in the performing arts, my number on my headshot, so it's not surprising, but how annoying...you know?

well if you would pick up your phones and tell them not to call then maybe they would stop!!!! why are you so scared to pick up th ephone anyway????

When you start paying our cell phone bills, we'll start answering name unknown calls...

i've been getting calls from this number too! i didn't answer and they've left no messages.

also got a call from this number. the guy said his name was Nick from Artist Rep. Theatre in Portland, where I take classes.  I was in a rush and said it was not a good time to talk. He never called back and I checked to see that no one named Nick works at the theatre (and if they did, why would they not be calling from the local work number!!) Aw, how I hate scammers, bloodsucking cowards that they are.

Have caller ID but answered - tie with answering machine so I clicked and said hello again and they hung up.

couldn't get to my phone in time to answer. they did not leave a message. i have registered with "do not call".  since i did not recognize the number i did not call back.  decided to google the area code and i'm glad i did.

They keep calling and won't leave a message. I just got another one and picked up. They asked for me totally mispronouncing my name and identified themselves as being from the Milwaukee Ballet. I picked up one of these calls once before and just hung up. Knowing that is was a CA area code I at first thought they said "LA" instead of "ballet". I am a season ticket holder for decades. I am very annoyed that they are doing this. I am soooo glad I refused to give them my email when they have requested it with billing recently so that they can email "coupons and special events". Yeah right. More spam I don't need. Especially spam for donations.
