    SD&A has been calling my house. They are calling on behalf of different non-profits. We have donated to a few local charities but if this continues I will stop our donations. Fund raising is getting out of hand.

      I keep seeing this 310-760-0644 number every other day in my call log... they need to be stopped... does anyone know how to turn them in?

      I have been receiving the same calls and do not answer.  After reading your post I visited there website and found a page on which you can request not to be called (www.sdats.com/incEngine/?art=do_not_call). It states it takes 3 days to be removed from their call list.  We will see.

    I am now on the no-call list due to several calls a day from telemarketing companies.  Are non-profits exempt from those no-call list rules?

      It turns out non-profits are exempt from no-call list rules.

      Here is some advice about dealing with these folks:

      J. Hoel
      I don't like phone solicitations and will boycott all charities that harass in this way. If I want to make a donation, I seek out the charity on my own.

      You can bet that they are extracting a pretty penny from the charity for their service. Contact the charity directly and tell them that you will donate directly or if they continue to use this service, you will no longer donate at all.

      No, non-profit organizations, and the Census Bureau are not exempt from calling people who are on the Do Not Call List.

    I too received calls from them.  My number has been removed from their call list.  Contact Mary Jane Avans at MJAvans@sdatel.com to have your number added to their no contact list.

    work late hate being woke up by these calls and no if they have to call me several times then the organization must be a scam

    I wondered who they were. Got my first call from them today and didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number but no name appeared. I appreciate the post with the emaill to contact them to be removed from their call list. Thanks.

    I have just in the month of june received 6 calls; two on the 1st, the 4th, and the 5th -- two a day... and I'm sure previous to this as well.  it is beyond annoying to the point of -- help stop them please.  310-76-0644 is the number that keeps being left on my cell phone!
