A "licensed contractor" is the area would like to stop by and give you a free estimate.

When I asked for his CA State Contractors License #...he hung up.  HOW RUDE!!!   :)

Buy a call-blocking phone.  

Uniden and Panasonic make wonderful call blocking phones and they're inexpensive.  They also come with at least one wireless handset.  Very handy!!!

These phones also block “Out of Area” and “Private” calls.

I didn't answer, knowing full well it was a scam, and they hung up when the answering machine kicked in. They are now blocked by my Panasonic cordless phone system ;-)

criminals at 310-777-9999 called today on a Saturday and are now added to call blocker..idiots will call again and get dropped.

Just did a search on this number, and o boy... the name listed is Jjjjj Mjjjj, in Torrance. There is an email address given - s.m@gmail.com - but the record is from 2009. Age 42, DOB 10/17/1970, but who knows - it could be a farce as well, altho it says at that location (Torrance) as of this date and time. Number is AT&T landline.

received a call from this guy today and he asked for  a relative.  I said it wasn't her phone and asked who it was.  He said it's not her phone then it doesn't matter who it is then he hung up.  This guy is a pest.  I don't know what his business is but if he calls again I'll try to find out who he is.

CID says "Beverly Hills" but # looks totally like a spoof.  Probably some underhanded Persian boiler room scam hiring welfare mothers and illegals for cold calling.

Caller blocked but still called again. I remain to block them. Calling Harassment!

I got a call from that number this morning and the clown on the other end wanted to start an argument when I said to remove my number from their list. I had enough after several seconds and hung up on the rude caller. I believe the caller works for a fly by night contractor with no license.

We used to get these types of calls several times a day.  Now it's just a couple of times a week.  We put an outgoing greeting on our answering machine that advises that we screen ALL calls and do not answer if we do not recognize the name or number.  And we're serious - we NEVER EVER pick up the phone "cold" - we screen 24/7 and only pick up on names/numbers we recognize.  So when they try to catch us on Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. we STILL don't answer.  Some of these repeat callers have finally gotten the message that we mean what we're saying and they will never catch us answering the phone.

I recieved a call from this man and he called my father very names. It was terrible. I'm not even sure how he got my father's name. Someone should report him to the police.

Get 2-3 calls per week from this illegal scammer.  Always same line about contracting estimates.  I always ask him if he is that illegal scammer who keeps calling.  Number obviously spoofed.  Never states his 'company' name because he obviously doesn't have one.
