They are selling mags -- probably a scam.  They try desperately to get your card # --will settle for a check # with bank.  Stated they were a part of the Hearst Corp.  NOT TRUE.  Call comes from a land line --a house in San Padro CA. Promise all kinds of winnings--diamonds, $, etc.

Called and hung up.  Called back and busy line.

Caller said my credit card company had submitted my name for a drawing. Offered choices of prizes in a drawing to be held next Dec.  $25,000 cash or hybrid vehicle.  Six magazines free, plus purchasing one.  Wanted credit card # or bank info.  Then said that I would be billed $19.95/month. Not exactly free!

Yup, they said the same thing to me. When I asked her what the catch was, she hung up

got a call from this number today......My bankcard entered me in a contest for being such a good consumer....yeah.....caller wanted personal info....when I refused and asked what kind of scam this was she hung up.

Called 2x this wk. Asked for my son 1st time by name. Today got dial tone when I answered.

called this number back and it's just a busy number. probably a scam!  it was meant to be a missed call.  i didn't have to listen to what they have to say.

I got a call from this number saying that I was a finalist for the Publisher sweapstakes!!!! All they wanted was my information!!! I hung up on them. THEY CALLED BACK!!!! Told me that I handled it wrongly and that I was being rude. I asked to talk to a manager and the lady laughed at me and said that it would never happen! She kept telling me how rude I was and then she hung up on me!!!!

2 calls w/in 10 minutes, called back 2 times thereafter in anticipation of another call & they hung up immediately while hitting other numbers simultaneously (digit tones were heard). Thx for the information.

called me on Jan 13, 2010. I tried calling back but got a busy signal. I called back again on Jan 14, and a woman picked up and asked who it was. I asked who she was and she told me she needed my name so she could look me up in her computer. I told her she had called me the other day and she told me to disregard the number.

Yesterday I got a call from a women saying that I was entered into this sweepstakes by a credit card company or bank and she wanted me to verify my address when I asked her... who had entered me she hung up! I tried calling but it just rings and rings... no one answers!!

This lady has been harassing my husband and i for the last couple of days. its always the same woman calling saying weve won something through our credit card. when i tell her i'm not interested she hangs up on me then when i call back the line picks up then hangs up.

after getting several calls from this number always seems to be the same number i called my bank to ask why or how i was put in a drawing they said there was no such drawing and that it was fraud and everyone who gets calls from this number needs to call thier card issuing bank and let them know so that they can get this company/lady shut down.
