This is a "sports handicapper" that identifies himself as "Derrick".  He'll offer you a free pick on a football/basketball/baseball game.  On the off chance it wins, he'll call back and offer another freebie, then ask for a credit card number for his "gauranteed winners".  Same scam all these guys run.  The get a list, split it in half, give one half of the list one side of the game, and the other half the other side.  Whatever side wins, he splits the list again, giving both sides of the game to either side.....eventually ending up with 1/4 of the original list, all of which he provided 2 "free winners".  Now he'll tell you he's got "inside information", and will ask for money for more winners. Don't get caught up in it.  They will just share your phone number, and you'll get bombarded with calls from these guys forever.

This guy called me too! He's an idiot! He won't take me off his list. I don't even know how he got my number. He gets defensive if you ask him, trying to act tough. What a moron! Keep calling him and bug him for a change!

Yeah, I called some frickin' "guaranteed free winning game" number that was advertised heavily on sports radio here in Seattle about 5 years ago, I was just curious about how it worked. I've gotten junk calls from bookies ever since. These guys sound like Mafia, they won't take me off their lists and now have me on weird auto-dials and [***]. I've calling this number 3 or 4 times a day and asking for Dr. Drew, Dr. Phil, Dr. Laura, Rush Limbaugh, etc. Keep bugging them.

Get a new number

Just got the call moments ago, and I tried to pick it up but it failed to connect.  Saw the number and looked into it.  I made the fatal mistake years ago of calling one of these numbers after a radio ad, and ever since I get an automated call on the eve of big events, typically.

I received a call from this same number... same story as above.. he started spouting off stuff about sports and the NCAA and its kinda funny cause I didn't watch any games for the NCAA.  I him who he was and he ignored me and continued to talk, I asked him who I was and he started to get defensive and said, "How am I supposed to know, you called me." and then I hu.

i received a call from 1-310-855-3403 and when i said hello, hello nobody
said anything.

He told me to f*** myself when I told him to take my number off his list.  I reported him, then sent a text to landline message to that number to inform him.  Hopefully, I'll get some relief.
