This call came from Synovate research company, asking me to rate one of my financial institutions.  The questions were fairly innocuous.  only took a couple minutes.

It was an unknown caller so I didn't answer. They didn't leave voice mail.

Got a call on my cell phone just now from 310-862-9008. This is a brand new number that I've only  had for a few weeks - how did they get this number?

I received 2 calls.  One at 7:08 pm and one at 7:45 pm PST.  No message left.

Missed the call...no message left, didn't try to return the call after checking on here for the number.

I only answer calls from my contact list. I have ignored this call everytime it has appeared. Which has been daily now for a week. Stop the maddness.

I've gotten a call from them 3 times, but I don't answer calls unless I know who they are.  I also almost never give out my cell phone number, so I don't know how they got my number.  I was told that the area code is from the Santa Monica area of California, so I'm not sure why they'd be wanting to call me half a country away.  How do I get them to stop calling?

I get a call from this # every night, no messages.  I don't answer calls I don't recogize.  Sounds like the 1st entry said...a research or marketing company wanting to ask questions.  They know they probably won't get a call back if they leave a messsage so they don't. Seems like if they were legit they would.  I don't like the fact that they somehow found my # and want them to stop.

I don't know where they got my number. Call me three times so far. I did not answer because i don't know the number. I wish the police would arrest them.

They've called twice in one day and the third time I didn't see who was calling before I answered.  It was a customer satisfaction survey for a car dealership service dept that I visited yesterday.

They called saying they were my bank and asked about why I hadn't yet consolidated my student loans.  When I asked them to send me information about it instead of giving them my account information they tried to persuade me otherwise.  I believe they are scam artists phishing for information.  Beware.

Wasn't Home at the Time this call came in,but they didn't leave a message either.

I have received 5 calls to my cellular number from this number over the last week and I just received one at my direct work number that I never give out.  They left a voicemail but it was just some office background noise.

Called, stayed on line even when I repeatedly said "hello", and then hung up.

they've called me twice today, one being almost 9pm, and have left no message like everyone else.  my number has been unlisted for 25 years and I don't enter contests or sweepstakes with this number.  I think they just call random people or they have somehow stolen someone's database, ie bank, car dealer, etc.

Called me on Saturday afternoon, then Sunday afternoon, Tuesday evening twice and now on Wednesday evening as well.  I have noticed this number in the past as well, but it seems that they took a break for a bit.  I have never answered it since i don't answer unrecognized numbers but wtf?!  Isn't there some way to trace where this number is coming from, especially since it actually shows up?

So I finally answer this call and confronted him on these calls at odd hours and no messages to everyone and he said they were an outside party, customer service satisfaction something or another for "the car dealership I visited the other day".  When I aksed what day, he muffled a "20th?" (or 28th-couldn't tell).  I did get my oil changed at the dealer last week afterwhich the calls started, however, either of those dates muffled were wrong.  So I don't know, he said I could have my name taken off the list in which I of coarse said yes to.. so I guess we'll see if it stops.
