David - 15 Oct 2007I have been getting several calls from YPR. When I answer the call disconnects after 5 to 10 seconds. And what??! How can I stop this?

Lynn - 16 Oct 2007We are getting the same calls. I finally just called the # back and it says to enter your phone # to be removed from their call list. That's what I did - they say it will take two business days to be removed from the list. Hopefully it works. Good luck!

Alfred - 18 Oct 2007Got one just a few minutes ago. I called back but am a bit skeptical that the only option is to enter your number to be removed. Seems to me they could be building a database of valid numbers and then be able to bypass the do not call list since they have now "done business with you".

Nai - 26 Oct 2007I have noticed this number on my caller id several times and was finally able to answer it today. I heard a woman's voice say "hello" and then I was quickly disconnected.
When I called back, I heard the same thing everyone else did and like Alfred, I'm leery of putting my number in to be removed from their list. I just added my number to the Do Not Call list but it won't take effect until next month I believe since I missed the last deadline.

That's what brought me here. I found the National do not call list, and submitted the info. Not five minutes later they called again. Only this time someone came onto the line. They are a marketing firm in connection the the Yellow Pages, Inc. The link is below. I told her I was going on the National Reg. and told her to put me on their list as well. Hopefully this helps.
