received a text message early morning around 4am saying that i won a $1000 gift card from best buy.

i got a txt message this morning saying i won a best buy gift card too

Received the text message this morning . I did not click the link either. I know it was phoney as I did not enter any contest. I did find out  the following:

City: Beverly Hills
State: CA
County: Los Angeles
I figure it just a scam

Yes, this is a scam. The URLgoes to a "you won a free Macbook" after you enter your code.

Received a text message at 815, this evening, saying I had won a$1,000 Best Buy card. Knew it was a scam.

I've learned not to trust this sort of crap. I spend a lot of time on deviant art, and the spambots NEVER END.

I got a text at 1:39pm saying the same thing.
