Message on my cell - caller ID shows as 'unknown'.   I can't understand the majority of what this person says, very heavy accent.  But apparently I need to call back the SECOND I receive the message and if I don't he wishes me lucky because I will need it...  I definitely think this is a scam.

I recieved several calls from this number on today. At least four times. I could not understand anything the person was sayiing. The only thing I heard is that someone has filed a law suit against me for 5,000 dollars. The number was showing up as UNKNOWN. When I ask the caller for there telephone number so my lawyer can contact them. He gave me this number 3109748088.  I also asked for his name-(JOHN BROWN). I did some investagation of my on an called the number back. The person(JASON)) answered the phone as if he was at home not at a law firm. THIS IS A BOGUS SCAM!!!!!!!!

it is a scam do not take this call it is all bogus i hear tem all in the back tell the same people the same stuff do not do it

I receved call today at my work. Co-worker gave the message.
Phone no 310-974-8088, she said he had a heavy accent and very hard to understand.  He stated he was calling from a law office. I also got a voice mail on my cell. I called when I got home, I was going to tell them do not call my work. Sounde threatening and demanded. Got  me very upset. When first trying to call kept getting busy signal. Told me I had to get money to them tonite and that I had 45 mins to get back. I reminded them it was 6:40pm, and that I did not have that kind of money sitting around. Said  if I did not pay tonite my work would be notified and law suite would be filed.  I found out they had also been calling my friends house. At first I was very shook up. Now I am angry, even if I did owe a debt this is not the to work things out. Could not understand name of law office stated.

I reported this to the NYPD, its called aggravated assault.  Its bogus, a scam, I don't owe anyone.  I will take it as far as it needs to go to stop it too.  I am not playing.  I called the FBI yesterday too.

I received a message on my CELL phone that they were trying to reach my sister and for me to call her and tell her to call them back as soon as possible. I called them to get them to take my phone number off of their list to call and the guy at the "law firm" asked me "can you take my dick and put it in your [***]"!!!! and then he hung up. I called back and talked the the "manager" and told him that I wanted to report the incident. He asked me for the employees name and ID number, I told him that he did not give me that information and he told me that he can not keep track of 700 plus employees. WHAT KIND OF LAW FIRM has 700 plus employees??????? This is a total scam. I called back again and asked for the name of the law firm and the guy that answered would not givie me the name he just kept telling me that I have reached the Law Firm. Seriously people, what law firm does not have a name????

This number called me at my work person had a heavy accent very hard to understand. I took the number after I asked him for it and told him I was reporting it to the the proper authorities. I told him never to call me at my job.

I would suggest anyone getting these calls to report it your local police department, to start with at least.  I was told by the NYPD that the more who report it, the more can be done, as they see its a pattern and not just a random call.  I told them to never call me again, and they better not.  I also reported it to DO NOT CALL. gov since I am on there, and they violated that too by calling me.

I just a call from this number as well at my job - seemed totally like a scam!

I have gotten several of the calls from this number starting 3 days ago, they r very harassing, and keep saying the we owe them $ and that if the debt is not paid in full then it is our life that is going to end! The caller has a very strong accent and is very hard to understand! He said he was with a Law Firm but wouldn't give us the name of the Law Firm he is with! He just kept telling us that we were suppose to b in court! but when we checked the court houses in our town there was no record that we were suppose to b there!

When they call back, tell them that you have notified the local police department and they are currently tracing the phone call and your lawyer has been notified. Tell them you will be taking them to court for harrassment and the police will be coming after them for pretending to be an officer of the law (which is illegal).

I talked to these people.  They said it was from Cash Advance.  The name of the supposed law firm is David Thompson.  It is a complete scam.  They kept telling me they could only send the paperwork to my lawyer.  They said I owed $979. Then called back and said I could settle for $300.  I just hang up now. Do not send these people any money. They get your number if you have ever looked online for personal loans.  They are very hard to understand and you hear echoing in the background.  They can not even give me a date that I took the money.

it deff is dont answer i made the mistake today and got worked up over nothing they tell you that u owe them money from a payday loan  and if it is not paid they bring fraud and theft charges against you possible jail time notification to your employer ect..ect..just dont accept and of the debt they say you owe or if you answer saying you know this is a scam or you have a lawyer they hang uop and leave you alone

I also talked to these people and the person i was to call back name was mark tyler. when i called back i kept geting someone named justin. i could not understand him a very deep accent. he kept telling me that i owed cash advanced over $5000.00 due to a loan that i got. the guy on the phone finnaly got mad at me and hung up on me. i called back and he said i was yelling at him and that i have upset him and he couldn't talk to me any more.

These people called me 13 times in one day back too back! They can not speak English and dont have any real information. I asked for a case number and they could not give me one I had my boyfriend answer and act like my attorney and they backed off and just left a message. DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS ITS DEFINATLY HARRASSMENT!

I have had 6 calls from these people today, strong accent and could hardly understand him..  Said I needed to call back immediately or have my lawyer call him.  Said a bunch of other crap and then told me good luck as it unravels or something around me. I can here other people in the back ground telling other people this stuff.  How do they get our information,  I recently was online and was looking for a refi on my auto loan and put some information in,  are they stealing this information.  I will never do this again.  I am about ready to change my phone number and thinking about turning them in.  the phone number on my caller ID comes up 0000.

I found these guys to be hilarious!!!!!! Just do what what i've been doing all day. I have been calling these morons and pretending to be other people each time then when they ask for my number I say the most ignorant [***] possible to iritate them. They will go back and forth with you for a while but after getting a taste of they're own medicine they started saying will you please stop calling here. They are a complete sham I am a real Bill Collector and when they called my job they started an all out war. My co workers are gonna start calling these guys to death so do the same and keep reporting them. Your info was obtained over the internet when you applied for a cash advance type loan so PLEASE REPORT THIS TO YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES because they have a lot of your personal info from bank account to your social. Whatever you put on that application they have it so start switching your bank info NOW!!!!!!!

I just got a call this afternoon and got upset called my sister telling someone said I owed them 5,000 dollars and that tomorrow at 11:00 am someone was filing criminal charges against me.  I couldn't think straight.  I couldn't understand a thing the person was saying.  When I asked to speak to a supervisor they hung up on me.

I just got the same call omg i was so worked up i was crying...especially when he told me i was going to jail...i supposively talked to 3 different people but to me they all sounded the same said they were from a legal firm...READ ME MY RIGHTS!!!!!...i couldnt believe my ears i was huh? wait what they explained to me they same thing a hundred freakin times it was all so much i thought id be getting strip searched and my kids would have to come see me in jail...omg that really pisses me off...

I received a call from an  unavailable  number.I received 2 message from a very strong accent man.
I was in my kids soccer  practice and i couldn't enjoy a special moment ,I received another  call from unavailable number, I  was worried about this harrasment and I was told That my husband  owed 4,000.00 dollar and tomorrow My husband will be arrested because the money. I said that we don't owed any money, I didn't understand the reason why, That person  told me that I must call to 3109748088 I called , that person told me that somebody will be here at 11:00 tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, Will be the hearing.I said I will not pay anything , I don't owe any money.Few minutes later , I call them back I told him I will call the police and the call was located that if somebody come tomorrow i will call 911.The person that will be arrested soon will be the one I spoke first and then him.I called the police and I reported to the FBI.tHIS CALL COULD CHANGE YOUR BEATIFUL DAY INTO A VERY BAD  DAY.
