I just got a call from this number as well said it was a wireless caller. They did not leave a message

This is your last call to get a lower interest rte on your credit card.  Hold on to speak to a live person.  No one came on.  I wanted to ask them to stop calling me.  I had the same call last night from a different  number.  My credit card company does not make this type of call.

Received a call from this number in new-brunswick canada and they ask me to dial 1 to win a trip in florida they transferd me to a girl who asking me what is my name i asked who are you working for and then she hung up ... Seem to be a fraud ... Be carefull with that number !!!

It seems to call all around the world for different matter sometimes its for a prize sometimes for lower interest rate i ll call my phone compagnie to see what we can do with that !!!!! Its fraud FOR SURE !!!!!

I have had this call before and reported it before. It is a SCAM. No current problems on your credit card but lock in a lower rate. I do not have a credit card. These people want you to give them information so they can use your funds. They must be hard to find, because I have reported them to the government, but once in awhile I get the same call all over again. Don't buy into it!

Just received a call from this number.  I've heard the recording before:  nothing wrong with your card but you can get a lower interest rate; press 9 if interested.  I pressed 9 and was connected to a female.  I started to ask to be removed from the list (business line) and was hung up on.  I've heard this message before but not sure if it's the same number.

The government doesn't care since it doesn't cost them anything for you to be targeted for fraud.

The number they call for me is on the Do Not Call registry, I've reported it but nothing ever happens.

You can ask to be removed from their calling list but that won't work either.

I also got a call to 'lower my interest rates  on my crdit card'.  I have been getting them for months, with a message to 'press 9' to talk to a rep.  Tonight I did, and immedietely asked to be removed from the list and to stop calling me.  The person said that I would have to call a different number, to which I replied that I wanted HIM to take me off the list;  I didnt want to have to call yet another number.  He indicated that he could not take me off the list, only the people at the other number could.  I replied that I would then file a complaint instead.  He replied only with "Stupid mother #$%@%^.  You're an idiot", and hung up.

Something tells me his reaction was not typical of your run of the mill telemarketer...

received a call from this number 310-986-9762, today (1/21/11), just a few minutes ago in fact. didn't answer & they didn't leave a message. I called this number back & it said: this number has changed, is disconnected or no longer in service.. Yeah right!

phone rang 4 times...ID said Califoria call.  Answered..no one there.
This same number called about one year ago, day after day.

I have pressed 9 and got a female and I asked her "do I currently have a credit card with you?" She hangs up, every time. I had a fraud alert on my credit card from CA some toy store called SOE Toy Store. I have only used that credit card ONCE online and it was with Hewitt Packard back in August to order parts. How incredibly ironic.

Said this was my last chance to get my credit card interest lowered to 6% and press 9 to speak to someone.  Never answered.  Never identified who they are.

I get them in waves.  I was getting them months ago, and then they went away.  Now they're back again.  One yesterday and another today.

"Rachel" wanting to help me lower my credit card interest rate.  Rachel was an automated recording.  Unfortunately I answered because I'm expecting a call from Calif.  Yeah - right - don't hold your breathe Rachel. I don't do business over the phone re: my credit cards.  But now they have my number as valid. I'll report them as scammers to state AG if they continue to call.

Let it ring. Answer as a business & they'll hang up. Scammers.

I got the same message and DID get a live person. I asked him to stop calling me and he tod me right up-front that they WOULD continue to call as long as I own any kind of credit card; Visa, MC, Discover,etc. I am filing a complaint with the FTC, but I doubt it will do any good.
