Some yahoo with a thick Indian or Pakistani accent claiming to call about student loans, said he called from Calif.  311 area code is phony, hope this helps someone.

Called was hard to understand. Would not tell me who they were or why they were calling.

They call then hang up...or they hold on while i keep saying hello hello can i help you..then they hang up. Very up upsetting.

Totally fake and spoofed area code. Area code 311 is NOW BLOCKED here!

They called stating they were calling about student loan payments, then hang up before you can tell them to take your number off their call list!

This number calls wanting you to change you student loan password by asking you to give them a PIN that is sent to your email.

Got multiple calls saying they can consolidate my student loans, i played along till they asked for ss number. Don't listen is fake. These people are from Pakistan or India. Recently was big bust on a sting operation their on similar operations.

same as all of you, I asked what loan did a seventy four year have, an he hung up, also there is no 311 area code

These people call me multiple times a day. Today alone they've called 8 times but never speak. This is very annoying and upsetting

The 311 area code is from the mid east

Keep getting phone calls from this #. If we answer, no one is there.

Just got a call from this number, I rejected it because 311 does not exist.

Asked for my name which they mispronounced and then they hung up.  Sounded like a boiler room operation.

Answered but only got a, "Hello, hello, hello" then caller hung up.  Added to the blocked list.

Note:  this is exactly how the name in the Caller ID was spelled....  Pathetic____can't even spoof a Caller ID name w/o screwing up.  Where do they find these clowns??????

Whoever called from this number was extremely rude. I don't know who or what it was about . But this needs to stop.

This number called twice in a row, before 8 AM here. Pissed me off, thought it was political til I read the above.  Came up as Name Not Found on caller ID! Idiots

Phone call at 7:15 AM...Female said she was calling from the largest electronic firm in the USA. I asked that my name be removed from her list; she hung up.
