no message

I picked up on the fourth phone call to my cell phone number and spoke with someone named Ray. Ray had left two messages and a woman named Talia had left one. Both said they were calling regarding my request for service with DirecTV, which was not legitimate. There was no such request from me. I hung up on them and called the number back and the number played music only. I called DirecTV and asked if this was a legitimate number from their company, thinking maybe someone had just transposed a number or something. It was not a legitimate number for their company, however, there was a pending request for service with this number listed as a contact number. They called the number and received only a dial tone.

When I checked reverse phone search the information for this number came up as a land line, Broadwing Communicatiions, LLC, Chicago, IL.

I placed an auto part request on a website and was called back 20 minutes later from a gentleman who said he was from Quality Auto Parts a,d that they had my part in stock.  I asked him how much it was and they hung up.  I also called back and got music on hold.  The gentleman I spoke with had a foreign accent, possibly middle eastern.

I have caller i.d. and when I answered on the 4th ring, no one was there. I called it back at 1-312-224-1676 and all it did was put me on hold with music playing. After googling this phone number I got this message and what everyone else got. So now I know it's a call I didn't generate. Thanks for the input on this being an illegitamate call. I am going to assume this is from Direct TV impersonator.

Similar to SimonSez above.
Placed Search for used auto parts and 30 minutes later got the call.
Called back & just music.  Hope that means I'll get good results from my part search... One can only hope!

I also received a call from this number after putting in an auto parts search request.   They didn't leave a message.

Looks like these f@kers are faking as an auto parts supplier collecting cell phone numbers to send you bogus advertising - like DirecTV and other BS

I put a search in for autoparts too. i got a call back from a man asking me to call a 1-800 number because they had my parts.

I got a call from this number when I placed a call to an online auto parts supplier. They did leave a message and said they were from Quality Auto Parts and when I called them back that was the same story. I think that Quality Auto Parts is using a call center in India as each person I talked with had a non-US accent with the majority of the accents being Indian. It seems like a legitimate number but I'm hoping that my number won't be shopped out now.

I was also searching for a car part. I figured it was a fraud.  He wanted a little over $600 for a used fender when I can get a new one for less than half that.

1-312-224-1676 i slo recieved a call from this number, i gather it has somthing to do with  online information i entered in request of an out part.

called dish net work to get a price and some one from inda talked to me , several hrs later got a call from that scarry number no message and when i called it back just got put on hold?
