I also got a call form these people on the 19th of November.  They threatened civl action.  They are some sort of collection agency and they have the wrong guy.  In fact they don't even have the right name.

Did you find out what it was about? I also received a threatening call from this number Nov 27, 2008.

Today, December 1st, I got a call, claiming they are "International Judgement Services" and they were wanting to speak to my mother; which, they asked for her by her maiden name. The man was very sarcastic and rude!!! He said a civil law suit was being filed against my mother from "Florida Auto Finance". They had the wrong person because first of all, my mother doesn't know how to drive and she has never lived in Amarillo Texas (she has never even been to Amarillo)!!!!!!

These people called me and told me one story about a company filing a civil lawsuit against me over the balance due on a voluntary repossession from 7 years ago. I called the company directly and they said I did not owe them anything and they did not have a lawsuit against me. They did not know who "International Judgment Services" were! Then when I called 312-265-4627 back they changed the story and then told me it was over something else! They are full of s---t!!!!!! This is for certain some sort of scam! Do not give them any of your personal information and do not pay them anything!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from these people 2 days ago and they said they had a Civil Case against me and a warrant for my arrest in a different county. I called the county and they had no idea what I was talking about. They also told me that if I don't pay a certain amount I was going to get a warrant, fined, go to jail on a felony...wtf, come on folks grow up and leave us alone...BS man!!! If they call my home again I will press charges on them!!!

they called me yesterday and said i was listed as next of kin in case of emergency for my brother in florida. i asked what happened to him and was he hurt and the guy (officer miles) said he needed to talk to my brother and mentioned something about a warrant. so after a few min. to recover from a near heart attack, i took his number and called my brother. my bro said he hadn't used me as an emergency contact on anything and he's lived in the same place for twenty years, so they should know where to find him. turns out it's a bill collector and the person they were looking for was not MY brother. i'm now worried about identity theft.......isn't it a crime to use terror tactics to collect a debt?

DAMN!!! These people just don't quit, not do they only call and hang up, but they send us letters in the mail....So whoever gets them trash the crap. Also I did contact the Better Bureau and the Attorney General where they are suppose to be located, which is a crock of [***], and it's fake, they have never heard of these people.....EERRRGGGG. Oh the best part, they couldn't even spell the town that I live in correctly, geez, lame ass people

Caller said that he was an Investigator and that I was listed as an Emergency contact for a person who had the same last name as my maiden name.  He said that he thought I might be a relative.  This was totally false.  I told him 'no' and hung up.  Beware!!!

I recieved a call from this guy named inspector miles and said that thier was lawsuit and criminal charges against my sister. He had all our information and wanted her to call back to repay a debt. told him my sister was a single mom trying to make it on her own.

i think these people ripped me for a bill that my ex husband had owed and he was injail, so they got me in 2007 for a settlement of $564, no credit for paying this was recieved on my credit report or anywhere.
So they are up to their dirty tactics again, leaving a message with a special investigator and a case number and now i collect unemployment...but i received some rebate money for taking a loan out with an online school from that way, i had to spend it for survival...so miss special investagator, I ain't got any more money for you to steal!!!

Received the second call from this 312 number. Someone has a "complaint filed against you." No other explanation. Just call the number to find out.

Very ugly demaining tone for voice, looking for someone that i didn't know.
wheni did pick up the phone to talk with him"stating that my answering machine cleary states my name" and whose house you'll calling. i told him i did not like the way he was talking and not to call my home again, At that time he told me he would come to in house and kick my door down. i invited him to do just that and then I called the wakulla sheriff department to file a report. This was a Inspector Miles that called me

My wife received a call this morning from John Carney asking for me, by name, stating that a federal case been filed against me as a civil complaint with criminal intent.  He claims to have Federal authority.

Based on the comments about this number I will not call back or take another minute to worry about it. Thank you, all! If they call back I'll tell them that I will file a complaint with the real law inforcement.

And that if my wife didn't give a date and time to meet with him he would have a warrant issued and that they would come and kick down the door and have her placed in jail with no bail. After reading what others we are not to worried but I thought it was against the law.

This guy called and left a message with my step-father stating some of these same things everyone else is saying...I can't wait to call him tomorrow because me and him are going to have some fun...he must have missed something in my file he has stolen because the county DA is a friend of mine....He said his name is Inspecter Miles...so everyone he is using a Chicago number, so it would be best to call the Chicago police.  I have family in Chicago who are also going to see if they can get me an address and then I plan on trying to press charges.  It cant be right to threaten to kick someones door down or lie about someone having charges placed on them because this guy wants to be a jerk.  It ENDS HERE!!!!

I revcd a message from inspector miles as well 4/27/09 at my daughters home and my elderly mother in laws phone. They are harrassing her as well. they stated that its a federal manner and they will be putting me in a jail. I have called 4 times today to determine who they are ...international judgement services... and advised them to speak directly with me regarding whatever it is they want. She called me names and advised she will call my mother in law every day all day. These people are losers and I also thought this type of activity is illegal.

Where you able to obtain the chicago police information? I would like to press charges as well. Unless we all press charges they will never stop!

These low life bottom feeders called at 6 in the morning and said "in regards to a complaint that is being filed against you and formalized near Downey." After calling them they said we owed money on a bank card and a summons would be issued. We explained it was a mistake. Then we called the bank and no such account ever existed. We called them back to explain that there was no past account in 2002. Mr "daniel brooks" said a summons would be issued. I made sure he had the address so the summons could make it quickly so we could have our day in court. Let them waste their money,if they are legitimate - not.

Agent Kevin O'Connell called for my husband, he left a very threatening message, because it was late when I received the message I had time to research the phone number he left and realized this is a SCAM.
