It showed as Cleaning Sales on my caller id

Just got a call from this number.  Caller ID said "Cleaning Sale".  Called back using a different phone, recording said "Welcome to the customer communications management platform....".  I was given the option of talking to a live person, or being put on their do not call list.  I hung up without pressing a number.

This is a scam.  I called the number (blocked mine), and their message said "welcome to our communications platform.....etc...etc....."  No company name or identifying information, whatsoever.  That's they way they like it!  Gave choice to be connected to leave a message, or connect to a csr.  Never do that, (or even punch any numbers) for a variety of reasons.  One is because now you have called them, giving them reason to keep calling you!  If they were legit, they would have their business name registered with an actual company name (for caller ID), or leave a message, or at least identify their actual company name on their answering system.  Oh, yeah, I forgot - PLATFORM.  Right!

After a pause, I was switched to a live person.  A woman came on the phone and called me by name and said it was "Environmental Clean Air".  However, I hung up since I don't take calls from anyone who calls me and isn't prepared to talk to me immediately.  Seeing other comments here, I am glad I hung up as it seems this number is used by various "companies"

I don't bother answering and they don't leave a voice mail. Any moron can get on the phone and try to sell something of which they have no clue.

Just called me asking for a different person and claiming to be some sort of environmental company. It's a scam for sure.

Thanks to all that post here, so that we know we need to block this number. Called today - no message.

9:12 A.M. CT on January 15, 2016. I didn't answer, and they left no voicemail.

Caller ID said "Cleaning Sale", Number blocked now.

"Duct Cleaning " scam outfit out of Chicago ( imagine that! ). Calls from many numbers, what they really want to clean out is your wallet. Tracked them down during the summer and confronted these criminals at the Elk Grove facility they used to be in, and brought the cops with me to fill out a report. I told them I was pressing charges and would sue as they have been breaking the law, telemarketing without checking the State and National DO-NOT-CALL list. The place was empty the next day, like turning the lights on and the cockroaches scattered, even the landlord said they paid in cash and he had no info on them. Cops didn't get any real information, the secretary gave him a few false names and didn't know anything else and the only other guy there spoke Russian and we had no translator. And why is there no call type catagory below for CRIMINAL?
