I said i definitely did not write such check. I called Chase from their number on their website, asked them to verify the number...could not find the number in their system. THIS IS NOT CHASE!!! FAKE!!

- Chris HSame as the above. Caller claimed to be from Chase. Asked me for the last four digits of my SSN or account # for ID. Fraud call all the way, fraud confirmed by Chase when I called their Loss Prevention department. You can reach Chase at 877-691-8086. BEWARE

- MJThey just called me 5 times in a row. I didn't know the number but the rapid calls worried me. I'm glad I didn't answer. I blocked them so they can't call again.

They sound very above board in the message and called me and my husband by name. Said my account needed immediate attention and to call back at 877-382-8854. I called that number and the person wanted my account number. I said, you called me so what's the issue and I'm not giving any account numbers out. The person said, they understood, and I should call the number on the back of my credit card if I wanted to check what the problem is. Bottom line, the person knew all the right things to say to may me think they were actually Chase Bank. I did not give out any information and instead called my banker who told me these were spam calls and that Chase Bank will never send me an email or phone me just saying there was a serious issue with my account. BE VERY CAREFUL and ALWAYS check unknown numbers on 800notes.com- Caller: Chase Bank

- LCPThis number is DEFINITELY a scam/phishing number. I totally agree with the post above. The voicemail message and questions sounded legit. Asked for full account number - which was what flagged it as BAD JUJU to me. :) When I said I wasn't comfortable giving the whole number, the guy somewhat stutteringly said, "Well, you can always call the number on the back of your card, and they will just transfer you to me." And I said "Ok, that's what I'll do.".
I called Chase and there are no issues with my account.- Caller: "Chase Bank" (not really)

- SamanthaGot a call - Identified himself as "Jimmy from Chase" - asked for info, which I - of course - didn't give. I asked for a Chase number to call back - he gave me a long song-and-dance, and a bogus number.
I called Chase to report - there was NO CALL made to me, NO reason to call, and they will never, ever ask for information - Chase asks for people to call them or go to a branch.- Caller: "Johnny from Chase"
- StoneWe have detected unusual activity in your account, please give us your last 4 digits (live operator) definetly fraud, I verified this with chase fraud dept. They also use the phrase "loss prevention" Chase says the NEVER us that term
- Caller: Chase

- Bill Paid replies to TamraWhile they did not leave a VM, this # 312-325-3558 called me. I have received several other calls supposedly from Chase (stating she is "Nicole Johnson" but sounding Asian), the VM I receive tells me to call 602-221-7702, which is NOT a Chase branch or has anything to do with Chase. She is calling a business, but does not give a reason for calling. The caller ID was 800-848-9380, which is a Chase #, but you can now change the caller ID to any # out there - so this is definitely a SCAM! Caution people!
- DTSPretending to be Chase Bank and asking for my security details. It is not Chase.
- Caller: Bogus (pretend to be Chase Bank)
- Garrett| 1 replyIts a legit number. They called about my auto loan through Chase. I immediately called Chase Fraud and they confirmed that it was the auto loan dept. Making sure I was still wanting to use the loan and extend the expiration on it.

- r| 2 repliesCall was from chase fraud prevention. Got paranoid from comments and called customer service who said chase did not call me. Called back again and asked for their fraud department who did verify that it was a legitimate call. Apparently their customer service does not have the same ticketing information as their fraud department when they call.
