Called me today.  I don't know of anyone in Chicago and this was made to a new cell number I got last week.

They called, let it ring twice, then waited until someone here picked up. Minutes later we got a robocall from a different number. It was like they were checking to make sure someone was here before the 2nd call with the scam-pitch.

Btw they have been 'disguising' their numbers as international numbers too. Second call came from 011-583-000-2582. We have no friends outside the US, yet this was 3rd int'l call in the past month ... why would someone call from outside USA to sell someone health/burial insurance for Americans?

got call again on a payday loan. Which I did not apply for. No idea who they are. Just know its a scam

I get these calls all the time and they use different numbers. Today, they called from 312-340-5579 and left a message that was more than 30 seconds long about a loan I recently applied for.

Payday scammers. Was a female voice this time, so it kind of tripped me up.

Spam call.  Automatically dropped call: Since I've installed the 'NQ Call Blocker' cell phone app—aka 'Call Blocker Free - Blacklist' by NQ Mobile Security—and used its setting to change to only accept calls from phone numbers I want, it is dropping 100% of all unwanted calls.  I go to the app>Main screen>Funnel icon>Blocking mode> change it to:  "Accept ONLY FROM WHITELIST and CONTACTS".  Add the phone numbers you wish to receive calls from to your Contacts (keep your Contacts up-to-date as normal) and/or add non-contacts that you wish to receive a call from to the app Whitelist.

Said I qualified for payday loan. I dint apply for it. I on Do Not Call Registry you bozo. Stop calling me [***].

Spam call. Do not give these people any money. It is a scam.

Just received a call from this number, payday loan really. Also getting calls from Texas and Florida about this scam.

Voice message saying I've been approve for a payday loan that I didn't apply for, this same voice mail I've been receiving for about 4 months now, it always a different number.

No I.D. on who's calling.....3 calls in a row within 2 minutes....saying I have been approved for loan. SCAM

Rec'd call with no caller ID and voice mail about payday loan which is not legal my state.

As everyone says...SCAM! Left a voicemail message about a payday loan I had applied for that had been approved...um, NO! I've gotten so many of these calls, all the same recorded girl's voice, all from different numbers, I'm so fed up. I block each and every number, but it does no good really, they just change the number and keep calling. Does anyone fall for this crap and actually respond? Anyway, why can't something more effective be done to stop these nuisance calls. Lowlife scum that run these schemes should be put in jail!
