Is anyone getting calls from (312) 348-1547?

i did its  about a ticket i got in chicago.... mine was from two yrs ago they were saying my license would be suspended if not paid

The "Ash law firm" Has called my house for over two months! When you pick up the phone, no one is there. Just a recording saying that the person that they are trying to reach needs to call them back.  Yea, real professional!  Then when you call back, no answer!   Finally got through today, some lady answered the phone and informed me that my husband had run through a toll booth in 2007 and twice in 2008. They wanted to collect a debt of $70.00 for each offense.  Then proceeded to tell me that his lisense would be revocked if not paid. First of all, they had a plate number that didnt even belong to my husband, second of all, why would they wait for almost 4 years to collect this supposed debt? Sounds like a scam to me! I have their phone number and intend on having my lawer contact them about harrassing us!  To anyone who recieves a call from these people, do not give out any info to them!! protect yourself!   By the way, Isnt it normal to recieve legal things like this in the mail, NOT FROM A RECORDING??

I agree.... The recording for me was for my ex, Jesseca. When I called them and informed them that she didn't live here, they then changed saying Randy T(Me) Was the one they needed to speak to. If they can't call me themselves then it must not be all that important. Give them nothing, if your license was in trouble, you can be assured the secretary of state would be contacting you via official mail correspondence.

This is Arnold Scott Harris, P.C., a debt collection agency in Chicago posing as a law firm.  If they call you, there is a good chance the debt is legitimate, but there is also a possibility that they are trying to scam you.  Beware.

This law firm is legitimate, and if you are receiving calls from them it is because of an OLD ticket that you have either ignored, forgotten, or failed to pay to the State of Illinois while they were attempting to collect through normal channels. Typically, the debt will be 3-5 years old by the time it reaches this point. Although this particular company's methods are rather unprofessional, you should contact them to clear this debt as it can affect your license status and/or ability to renew (depending on the state in which you reside)

This "law firm" called me looking for a Daniel Mambuh (or something like that).  I tried to explain to them that there was no one here by that name.  They keep calling and calling and calling. About five days after the harrassing phone calls started, just to stop the calls, I told them I was the guy they were looking for.  They told me they had three toll violations totaling $750 that had not been paid and a court case had been levied against me in my honor.  I told them to pucker up and kiss my crack that they would never see a dime from me!  Probably just cost someone their license, but oh well, it wasn't mine, ;)......  Never been to Illinois.  These people ought to do a little research before hitting the keypads.  Not only that, I do not accept any phone calls for a form of debt collection.  Here is a tip for all of you, if you are concerned whether or not it is a legitimate claim, tell them you insist seeing it in writting.  I wouldn't accept it any other way, what with all the scammers out there.  You never know who the crack-heads are from the real McCoy's.

3123481547 somebody is calling me many times on my cell phone and I call them they said I am looking for boys she cant give me clear explanation, Its company name is Arnold I called to my lawyer and he said you can ask her address and phone no than we will do something. Than I called this company and she said I am sorry now we will remove this no. Pl be careful Its scam.

This is Arnold Harris Law firm and they have been harrassing me for running a toll in Chicago when I wasnt there.  I have written  multiple letters, sent them copies of payroll records indicating that I was working in St. Louis at the time of the "offence" and they don't believe me.  You can block your home phone number by doing *60.  Every phone provider is a little different....so you might want to call them.  They have multiple numbers.  Good Luck!

I've been getting a handful of calls from this number and I've never even been to Illinois, so it's hard for me to think that I owe that state money. I deem scam!

These people called and left a message that they have been tried to reach me several times, this the 1st time I hear from them.  I should call them immediately about some important matter. Sounded like a scam. Of course I am not going to call them. The name on the ID was A Harris Law

Same MO. have called several times and always leave the same recorded message. Annoying.

This is not a law firm. It is a "collection" agency fishing for information.

I had the name Harris Law come up on my credit report saying I owe Illinois Tollway...anyone know how to clear this up?  Iive never been to Illinois, it says the offense was in 2004.

I had a car stolen almost 7 years ago and it was used to run to Chicago and back to Madison running all the tolls on the way. I cleared it up once then had to go a second round with the toll system and thought I had it all cleared up....know there back trying to recover money. The system down there is a mess and almost impossible to deal with.

Sometimes they masquerade as a law firm.  Sometimes they say that they are Ash firm.  Use slight variations when they call.

So far I have only recieved 2 calls from a Mr. Kenneth Williams who states he is with the law firm of Arnold Scott Harris, representing the "State of Illinois." Sure it sounds professional, but didn't make sense to me because I couldn't imagine why a law firm would be calling me. Anyway thank goodness I did some research. Must be a scam. First time he called the phone was 312-604-7173
The second call was 312-893-4809
Both times he wanted me to call 312-423-7351. Nope.... Not gonna happen

They have called me 40+ times. I got a new home phone and it started. I have deleted all their calls.  If they were real then I would get some papers in writing. They are a scam! !! I have a clear record.
