Keeps calling and doesn't leave a message.

This caller has called my cell phone, which is on the FTC do-not-call list, eight (8) times in the past two days and never leaves a message.

I filed a complaint the with the FCC and the calls stopped the same day.

This number has called our office 6 times in 3 hours

This number calls my house multiple times a day - 6 times in the past 2 hours. Filed a complaint with the FCC today. Looking in retaining a lawyer if this doesn't work.

7 calls today.  Answered once to silence.  No messages

This number has called my cellphone, which has been on the do not call list for years, SEVENTEEN (17) TIMES the past two weeks, sometimes every seventeen minutes or so, and never leaves a message.  The caller never leaves a message, and the one time I answered was greeted with silence as some of the others have noted.   I reported the first calls to the FTC a few days ago, but the calls did not stop.  Today, I took the time to report each of the 17 calls individually to the FTC.  Two of the 17 calls came while I was doing this.  I then went to Verizon.net and arranged to have the number blocked on my cellphone.  While I appreciate that the FTC has significant constraints on its resources, I think that the average citizen would much prefer that the FTC devote more resources to stopping these situations rather than relentlessly pursuing Apple over matters of which less practical significance.

No one there every week disturbing my business!

I received a number of calls from this number last week with the same experience as others - silence on the line and then a hang up. Today I received a call and it was from a local radio station informing me of how to participate in a contest they are running.

Called my cell which is on the do not call list for years. Did not leave a message.

After this number called my cellphone virtually round the clock for weeks on end, I filed a complaint with the FTC and had my cellphone provider block the number.  The cellphone provider blocks a number for only 90 days.  Promptly after the blockage ended, the calls resumed.  I again filed a complaint with the FTC and again blocked the number.  The caller never leaves a message.  I called back this a few moments ago and received a recorded message that was repeated several times:  "You have been contacted for market research or a sales call."  The FTC appears to be totally ineffective and unable to remedy these situations.  I presume that the robocaller would argue to the FTC that it is exempt from the do not call requirements because it is doing marketing research.  Pathetic.  If the caller really is "AT&T" as one commentator has noted above, I will never ever -- I repeat, never ever -- use their services for anything.
