I would bet that when you open the photo you get a virus.

Scammer trying to get me to download a virus loaded in pictures sent to me in response to a wanted ad I placed on Craigslist in Los Angeles, and theyre in Decatur Illinois?   Obviously searching for people to scam or infect!...Loser!!!

This number contacted me through a craigslist add asking me to down load pictures. I figured it was a scam.

Same GIMP download thing....i hate craigslist now..FULL of [***] like this

7/10/2012  10.00pm.   I just had a text from that same Chicago number responding to my CL ad.
Tried to get me to download a photo-file which I did not.  Beware the number 312-442-0946.

I'm in Spokane,WA, same number, same vague message to mass respond to craigslist ads.

Got the text this morning and new it was a scam always search for a phone number on google before you respond

Got a text in response to a Craigslist ad.  A woman wanted me to view a picture of a motorcycle.  I am in OR, she is in ILL.  Yeh right.

We each got a text message this morning from this phone number in response to our craigslist wanted ad as well. He/She sent a text saying "Hi, reguarding your *wanted* ad on craigslist, will this work for you?" and the url for the site with the pictures. then He/She said "If so it's yours. Thank." We went to the site and it said we needed to download GIMP to view the pics. I asked the person who texted if he/she could send a pic from their phone and never have gotten a text back.

I had the same experience as those above.  SCAMMERS!
