Received a call on my cell phone.  These type of unsolicited calls are occurring so much more frequently these days.  So annoying.

These people are trying to scam you saying your computer has a virus. I asked him how he knew my computer had a virus and he said he could fix it. I asked him again how did he know and he said don't you want your computer fixed? I told him since he couldn't give me any straight answers, I didn't need his services. Hung up and then added him to my blocked call list.

I couldn't understand what the guy was saying to me - something about a virus & he was going to help me fix it. I asked him how did he know - he said he is with microsoft & we are a registered user. he tried getting me to click the windows button with the letter R button to search my computer for something. he said type this in: eventvwr & hit enter & that's when I hung up. he called right back & tried again. (while I was googling his #) when I called the # back, it said that wasn't a valid #. when he called back- the only # that showed on my phone was the number 14. SCAM. He also did ask why I hung up on him & don't you want your computer fixed? last time he called, I didn't answer.

Same issue everyone posted here, Thick accent talking about a virus.

They still use that chessy excuse?! XD It has been over a decade. Lololololoolllllloooollololk.

This is dangerous and needs to be reported. I kept asking how they would know anything about my computer (they kept insisting I'm a windows user and I only use apple computers) and then they actually told me my address!! THEY KNOW MY ADDRESS!! Who do we report this to?!?!!!!

Received the same call stating my microsoft has a virus and my computer will crash.

recieved a call from this person hard to understand, something about a virus and my computer has been infected. I told them not to call again and hung up.

Just received a call from this number, someone with a very hard to understand accent telling me he was with Microsoft and that my computer was infected. When I replied  "no, it's not" he said "yes it is" that they had been receiving error  reports from my computer for the past 2 weeks, he actually argued with me,  then "don't you want your computer fixed" to which I replied "thank you for the information I'll be sure to let Norton's know their software isn't working"  and "no I don't want my computer fixed"  and hung up.  Idiot!

Receive a call today telling me that my computer needed fixing...I didn't let it go any further than that as I have had these calls before..but I am angry that people might fall for this..I told the young my off and hung up as he was trying to say something,,I told him that I would report this scam call..the number he called from was:
312-452-1087...the number is not in service. When I google the number I got AMERITECH MOBILE SERVICES, INC...that is as far as I could go..

Call came in within 5 minutes of my being assigned a new phone number.  I did not answer.

Number keeps calling. Does not leave a message.

Called my cell phone saying I had a Microsoft window problem I just hung up and blocked them. It's a scam!!! I wish these people would stop calling!!!
