This number was from a debt collecting and consolidating agency that cold called me. I have no debts in collection, and when I challenged why they called my cell phone, the woman hung up on me.

Me too. The guy was a real jerk. I said I don't accept sales calls and he just said 'well, disregard the call then' click. I tried calling back and it says the number is a non working number. How do we report these people?

I got the same call it was an automated message saying they are trying to collect a debt and lower my interest rate and that they have sent several letters to my home. It said press 1 to speak to someone and when I did it hung up, I keep trying to call back and get a busy signal.
I dont have any credit card debt so I dont know why they would be calling me or calling my cell phone!

This number keeps calling my cell number and I have no accounts past due and I know this is a scam.

Same thing happened to me just now. It said the call could not go through.

I responded to this automated call about consolidating credit card debt to low interest rate.  When I asked for the company name, Card Services was given as DBA.  I asked for a callback number and was told there wasn't one to which I responded with "I am reporting this to the BBB and want my number removed from the database."  The caller the hung up.

I want to scream at these people. They are so rude and hang up on you before you can say stop calling me. If someone figures out a way to report this please post.

Have had several calls from this debt reduction company.  My numbers (home and cell) are listed on the "do not call" list.  They also hung up when I asked what company they represent.

someone calls at least 3 times a week from different numbers with this same message, this is the last time I will be contacted, etc... but when I get a person to talk to and tell them to not call, they hang up.
This is apparently a "card services" scam.

I have been getting calls from this number for several months.  It is no use trying to fight them.  I just put the number on my blocked calls for my cell phone, so we will see.

If I get another call, I plan to press one and try to keep them on the line with as much fake information as possible.  Obviously, this is some sort of scam and these people get paid to talk to interested people so our only defense is to waste their time.  Hopefully, if you do so they will get tired of the antics and forcefully remove your number.

Keep getting calls from them. Every time I speak to an employee and ask to have my number removed, they hang up. Today when I got the call, I spoke to some guy and asked to remove my number. He responds by putting the telephone receiver up to his speakers/headphones and playing 30 seconds of some death-metal song for me. He came back just long enough to say "Later!" and hang up. I am getting really tired of this game.

Just got a call from them.  Tried to return the call but it was a non working number.  Please if anyone gets the name of the company or another call report them to the National Do Not Call list.  The more complaints that come in the better the chance something will be done.

I've gotten 2 calls in the last 2 days even though I've asked them to take me off. I'm on the Do Not Call List! When I ask them to do this, they just hang up on me.

I continue to get the same calls you are all discribing at least once a month regarding a debt and consolidation for a credit card I do not have.  Fortunately I have free incoming calls but for some people this would be using up their minutes for no reason.  I wish we could do something.

I am being called by this number constantly. I do not know who they are. When I try and return the call, it is a verizon number that has been disconnected.
