Called 3 times 11/14, and again 11/14.  Do not know anyone from Chicago.  Did not ans.

Called my business phone with no name. Was busy so did not pick up. Left no message. Called back and got someone with either an indian or muslim accent hardly understandable. Have no idea who these people are. Left no message. About 1 minute after this call got another one from 806-839-7993. Same scenerio. Some kind of scam tying up my business phone.

Got a call from these people to my business and when I answered, a person started talking with a highly accented voice, Muslim man, asking my name and what I sell and I told him and asked what he wanted to purchase and then I got sexually harrassed  by someone called Michael who said he loved me and where it went from there I cannot repeat. I called back to talk to a supervisor and after telling him what happened he told me I had such a sweet voice that no wonder Michael wanted me and I would make a good wife, definitely these guys are Muslims. I told him that if he called again I would call the police and report them to the FTC, FCC. and hung up. THey actually called back and I let my machine pick up. They have called me on various numbers, the same place and people. I cant understand much of what they call themselves except E-Car Loan.

I have been receiving calls from overseas as well as unknown cities in the US.  I ignore the calls.  No messages are left.  I had this issue about 4 months ago.  I was informed that had I not called and settled a legal issue that the police would be at my home or job the next morning.  I realized that the same person was calling from different telephone numbers.  After I told him that I was tired of him playing games and not to call anymore or else law enforcement would be contacted, the calls slowed and eventually stopped.  Well that is until last week.  I received about 20 calls yesterday from strange numbers one of which is 312-473-1264.

Keep getting repeated calls from this #. No one speaks. Would like to block this # from my phone.

Had several phone calls from this area code today including multiple from this number.  No voicemails left.  I finally answered and gave them a piece of my mind for calling repeatedly and said I knew this had to be a telemarketer.  Someone with a thick accent told me he was not a telmarketer and I must be deaf because I couldn't hear him and needed to go to the doctor to get my ears cleaned out.  The call wouldn't connect when I tried to call back.  They called me back a few minutes later and there was silence.  I have blocked the number.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I have received calls from this number multiple times for the past three days. This morning I answered the call and a man with a foreign accent (Indian) told me that I had been approved for a $9,000.00 loan.The caller did not identify the company. I never applied for the loan. I told him to remove my name from his list and never to call back. I am now going to report the number to the Do Not Call people. I have also been receiving weird text messages from unknown sources.

Attention: everybody dealing with harassment from phone number 312-473-1264 or 312-724-5812...
I have reported these numbers to the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357; please do the same.
I have also reported this to the State Attorney General's Office; though these numbers show up as though they are coming from Chicago, IL, they are most likely not - they are spoofed numbers (according to the Attorney General) coming from another country of unknown origin. The State Attorney General's Office transferred me to the FBI to report these numbers, because they are often threatening in nature, as many of you have described here. The FBI are the only ones who can truly investigate this and take action.
I suggest that all of you receiving these calls contact the Do Not Call Registry at 888-382-1222 - however, doing this will not stop the above numbers, as the DNC can only stop telemarketers, and the above numbers do not belong to telemarketers... they belong to fraudulent scam artists, or possibly, terrorists.
Please report these numbers to the FTC (the FCC cannot help - they will direct you to the FTC), the DNC, the State Attorney General's Office, and the FBI if you really want the harassment to stop.
The calls I have been receiving have increased in frequency, and I will do everything in my power to help stop these scumbags.

I take it you are getting a lot of calls from people with Indian accents.  Your best bet is a call blocker and do not pick up on calls you do not recognize.  Do not return any calls you get from these people.  Block them!

It is Thanksgiving Day and got a call from this number on my cell phone which is listed with the national no call registry.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  What a hassle.

Some foreign person call me from this number on Thanksgiving Day.  I asked if they knew what day it was and they said yeah and are you having fun F**king your husband. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but all they would keep saying was about f**king my husband.  These people need to be stopped.

The number 312-473-1264 keeps calling me. They never say anything. They call about five times a day. If I had all the time in the world I would call them every five minutes and hang up just to be an ass.

I received a call again today. I answere so I could tell them to stop calling me. I told him to take me off the call list and I called him an idiot. I hung up and he called right back. I let my voicemail pick it up. The message he left was....hello penny, I'm going to take my arabic d--k and f--k you in your f-ing mouth you f-ing idiot. I'm going to f--k you in front of the cameras you f-ing idiot, f-ing b---h. I called the police, nothing they can do. I reported it to the FCC. This number blows up my phone with numerous calls a day.
