Got a call from this number on my home phone. Picked up to answer and caller hung up. I called back, received a general voice mail.

Since I had been having problems with an astounding number of unauthorized calls recently, I had registered my numbers (home and cell) on the National Do-Not-Call Registry as well as put a block to deny unknown or unannounced calls on my home phone in an effort to stop or at least minimize the spam calls.

Because of this, I googled the caller's number and did find another site listing this number as sme type of national sweepstakes spam call. A toll-free number is also given as a call-back number: 800-960-0083.

According to my research on this number, the caller tells the person that they have won a Lincoln Navigator and tries to get them and their spouse to come to claim the prize. Additional details on these calls can be found here: https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-996-0081.

I found this number on my ID box also and a message from Bill that said he was from the prize distribution center and wanted to congratulate me on winning a new Lincoln Navagator and to call him back at 18009960081 which I did not. I entered the number on google and found the afore mention notes and now today I had a call from Chad Edwards form the number 1-773-293-6978 and he left a message that I had won one of four gifts and to give him a call as soon as possible and this number was to his personal desk. Thanks for reporting your scam so that I would be aware of others who had received the same calls.

Just received this number (312)488-1851 on my phone as well. When I answered, they hung up the telephone. I wish there was some way to report this person.

Same thing, the bill guy with the lincoln navigator.  I called back and i left a message but no return call or anything, whats up with this [***] for real? can they get anythingfrom me if i didnt give them any info?

Received call on 1/28/2008 at 7:09PM.  Caller ID gave number as 312-488-1851 and name as Bill Bentley.  Do not recall specifically what the call was about, but the Lincoln Navigator scam sounds familiar.

I just had some one from this number call my house as well. I am So So Over this. This is not the first time this has happend but from different numbers. I have my Number in the Do Not Call List and they STILL call! One lady over a Degree said I registard for somethign off line.. I told her No i did not and She said "well Mam" I have all of your information right here, that YOU provided. I said NO Mam.. I know Better then to give my information out to just anyone. She said well are you intressted or not (snotty) and I told her No thank you and she Hung up on me. If anyone can tell me what actions I can take and what to do to make it all og away! Please! I have 2 small children in my home and keep other children. They start calling at 8 AM and up til 9 PM... Please Help!

Got a call saying I won something from Gladiators.
He left a message saying to call back at: 1-800-996-0081.
I called back twice and a voicemail came on saying it
was the prize distribution center.  I did NOT leave any
messages, as I have heard of these "scams" or whatever
they are, in the past.

I just received a phone call from 18009960081, about me winning a prize that I supposedly signed up for a couple of months ago.  2007 Lincoln Navigator. The guy's name was Bill and told me to call him back. How scandalous can you get!

Got the same call-- '07 Navigator-- what a tool!  The '10s are going to be out soon!

Recieved a call from Bill Bently (312-488-1851) saying I won a Navigator. Called back. No answer. refused to leave a message. Haven't herd from hime since. Sounds like a scam to me.

March 19, 2010 I received the same message from Bill. I didn't bother to call back because I didn't enter any contest for a Lincoln Navigator.

April 8, 2010.  Received the same message from the same guy.

Received the same call from Bill that I won a Lincoln Navigator, too. Bill sure has a lot of Lincoln's to give away - no way am I calling him back and he is now blocked.

I got a call from Bill Bentley.  When I call back all I get is a busy signal.

Call on answering machine stating I had just won a Lincoln Navigator from the Price Distribution Center and to please call 1-800-301-3436....checked ID and call was from Bill Bentley.  Glad I check with this site before returning calls.

Got a call from Bill who left message  Same as everyone else.

Pleae do not call me anymore I do not want your car

What the heck is going on here if we cant protect the general public from unwanted sales calls and the like. I cant let my kids answer the phone as some of these people are aggressive and rude!   It makes me so mad that I rarely bother to answer the phone, unless  I know the caller. It should be illegal for these types of calls, or any type of call other than personal calls to an individual.

Yep, same you won a Lincoln Navigator message left by some "rectangle mouth" on my answering machine. This was 17 days ago - anyone interested "my" free Lincoln Navigator? Starting bid: $1.00

I just received the same "sweepstakes" call from a Bill Bently at the Prize Distribution Center as previously mentioned here - 312 area code.

Old news.  I'll be disconnecting my land line soon, going to disposable cell phones and moving into that old missile silo I just bought from Bill's cousin.

I keep an air horn by the phone for the LIVE callers who are adventurous.
