I recieved the call from this number but before I could pick up the phone, call was dropped. I called back to know that who was calling but there was a answering machine of some prize claim office with no names. My phone number is included in do not FCC call list but i guess some people still wil not respect my privacy

By chance do you live in the central Texas area?  I called the number back and got busy line.  A worker came by my home several months ago to give an estimate, but I never heard back on him.  Hmmmmmm.

Received a call from 312-488-1854 Caller ID display 'UNREGISTERED'; left no message.  The area code, 312, is in the Illinois area - Chicago.  Have no idea who this is.  Plan to file a complaint with the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY because I am registered to NOT received sales calls.  That web address / URL / is https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx

Congress Makes Do Not Call List Permanent

WASHINGTON, Friday, Feb. 11—Americans can continue to eat at the family dinner table without being interrupted by telephone solicitors.

Congress voted last week to make permanent the national Do Not Call Registry that prohibits telemarketers from calling people who sign up for it. President Bush has said he'll sign the measure.

Previously, consumers were required to re-register their numbers every five years. The blocks on many of the 150 million phone numbers currently on the Do Not Call Registry would have expired in September.

Exempt from the legislation are charities, political organizations and businesses with which consumers have an established relationship.

David Certner, legislative policy director at AARP, says that making the registry permanent was of particular interest to older people because they tend to be more vulnerable to telemarketing fraud.

To stop telemarketing calls, consumers must register both their cell phones as well as their home numbers. To register for the list online, or to complain about getting telemarketing calls even after you've signed up, go to www.donotcall.gov or call toll-free, (888) 382-1222. Registration is free.

Received a call from 312-488-1854. Sounded like dialing was going on while I answered. No one would talk. I would also hear an my voice echo. Do not know who this is. Coming from Chicago,IL.

1-800-996-0081 toll free number.   ask for Bill.  Called at 1:26 PM Wednesday Dec 10, 2008 from phone number 1-312-488-1854.

Bill didn't mention any name. Stated that he was from Prize Distribution Center that I  was entered some three months back and that the contest was over and there was a 2007 Landnavigator to be awarded. Bill stated congratulations. Call 800-996-0081 and ask for Bill.

312 is from melbourne florida i think. i only know because i did some business there and i thought this was them calling me for payment info and every time i answer they hang up and when i call back they do not answer. maybe ill pay to find the registered address of whoever this is and go and personally ask them to go away

Seth called from 312-488-1854 and said that I had won a Grand Prize Giveaway. I was to call 1-800-301-3436 and ask for Seth, he said congratulations, and he had some very good news.

No it's not. It's Chicago. You must be dyslexic because FL is 321.

"Bill" called from the "Prize Distribution Center." It went like this: Pause. "Hi this is Bill with the Prize Distribution Center calling in regards to the contest that was entered some time back called the 'Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway' where your entry was submitted in hopes of winning a brand new Lincoln Navigator. Well the contest is officially over--we are looking at your entry, so we do have very good news for ya. What you need to do is give me a buzz here toll-free in the office at 1-800-301-3436. Again that's 1-800-301-3436 and congratulations!"

left mesage on voicemail. same script as used in calls to steve, diane, and kate (prize distribution center + Lincoln Navigator), but my caller was Richard.

gee, they're sure awarding a lot of Lincoln Navigators...especially when we didn't enter a contest! (LOL)

keep getting calls from this number, and -1853. No one picks up or leaves a message.

received a call 6/2/12 @ 10:30 am est from 312-488-1854, Brad telling me he was looking at my entry and had goog news for me. $25,000 cash or a SUV, call a 800# , The only contest i entered was for a corvette or $50,000 cash in our local store monopoly game contest and the drawing isn't until August.  Sounds like a scam to me.

Bob from the "Prize Distribution Center" called and left message saying I'd entered a sweepstakes within the last 18 months to win $50,000 and that he had very good new for me.  Call back # was 877-249-6404 but caller ID says: ILLINOIS 312-488-1854.

Someone get an address and do what My crap G'ment cannot.... shoot some of these ppl and end this (try and go for the owners please)
If they are allowed to move on, they will just be kidnapping babies and household pets for ransoms.

'Pierre' from the 'Awards Notification Center' (312-488-1854) left a message about a $25,000 prize give-away that I supposedly entered 'sometime' in the past year. He Congratulated me and ask that I call 1-855-841-6089 to claim my prize.WOW! ANOTHER phone scam added to the ,already, very long list!! Not even bothering returning THAT phone message but I am filing a complaint.
BTW: I never enter ANY contest!
