Broke my own rule and answered a call from a number I didn't recognize.  A guy claiming to be Jerry from Acme asked for me by name.  I asked, "Jerry from where?" and he said something like, "Sorry, dude."  Then he went into a spiel about me being pre-qualified for business financing or something, and hung up when I mentioned the DNC list.

Scammer scum.

didn't answer and some guy left a one-word voicemail.  i think their trick is to simply say your name (in an interrogative tone) to get you curious enough to call them back.

Two calls in the last two days from this number. First time I tried to see how much I could get out of him - we got stuck in a loop after I asked which company he was referring to that was pre-qualified for financing. Didn't pick up the second time.

Been getting calls from this number for a few days, same thing as above. I answer and the guys asked for me by name, I ask and he tells me he's from, Acme and goes right into some sales pitch asking for my info saying I qulified for a $250k bus loan, I laughed and hung up. That is all, should have messed with him a little but I just didn't feel like dealing with him.

Just received 2 calls today from this number.  The caller left no message.

First they called me when I was waking. I hung up but they called me by my first name and I was curious why. They persistently called all morning and I didn't answer. I then remembered I may have been expecting a call so I called back. A foreign recording answered and I wasn't patient enough to wait. I googled the number and found this page...

Called 4 times in the last 2 days and never leaves a message. Sure wish there were penalties for these guys calling when you're on the DNC list.

This dude just called to scam me and obviously offer 250k like the rest.

I got a call 3 times from this number in under 7 hours.  The last time I answered after looking up the number here.  When they asked for me by name, I told them they had the wrong number.  Thanks everyone!
