Received call today, no one was talking.

They are saying you are being sued in a civil matter. Got this on my land line. Has anyone else been getting this call?
Called a few times already. Sounds fishy to me. Beware!!!

Have received a call from this number 3x times so far.  Call went to vm, but not message.  Caller ID lists them as NORC at University of Chicago.

I assume this is junk. I got a couple of missed calls today from "NORC U CHICAGO" also.

Call claim to be from University of Chicago, told them to go to hell and don't ever call again

They left a message stating that the State of California was conducting a survey on the health system.

Got a call tonite at 8pm, did not answer, went to VM, no message.

Another call from this number. ID says Norc U Chicago. IU let it go to voicemail. No message. This is not the first call from this number  but I have never answered.

I am getting calls everyday now from all over the place. What is going on with the DNC list?
I am getting calls from contractors soliciting me, pharmaceutics, and plenty of scam calls.
I must of blocked at least 80 numbers so far. I am so mad but what can we do?

From  "NORC U CHICAGO" , did not answer. Stop the call and put in block list.

The way I deal with these annoying calls is that I will take the call and not say anything. I set my phone
down for a few minutes until they terminate the call. It sends a clear message that I am home and
am not willing to take their call. Have they ever heard of caller ID.

Did not answer. Left empty voice message.

Calls me daily after 8pm.  I asked to be removed from the call list.  She said "I'm not calling from a call list and can't remove you."  I told her was total [***] and she better figure it out.

This b y c h  just had the nerve to call me back and try to argue about whether she was violating the do not call list.  I told her to f c k  off.

I have asked REPEATEDLY for them to stop calling and remove me from their call list.  She claims she "is not calling from a call list" and "cannot remove me".  This is total SPAM and is a violation of law.  I am reporting to the FTC.

Despite the fact that surveys are exempt from the DNC list, you'd think any survey company worth their weight in manure would realize that they are NOT getting a representative sample by pi$$ing off the people they are calling!  WAKE UP!  People do not want to be bothered at home and don't give a darn about your client who hired you to find a way to sell things to them.  Universities and colleges are the latest dupes to fall for the survey nonsense.  Survey companies are making millions by selling data over and over to advertisers.  They OWN the data they collect by exploiting students.  Yes, I said exploiting because that is EXACTLY what you are doing.  You are taking the time of students and others and giving them nothing in return.  You want people to give you opinions, then PAY THEM!  You're selling a product the raw materials of which are the opinions and time of those who answer your questions.  You are no different than any other manufacturer.  You have to pay for the raw materials you use.  You want my time and opinion then show me the money.

So you are from this survey organization?  Please give me your home phone number so I can call you every night after 8pm to "survey you" about a few things.  Post it on this thread please.  Thanks!

Just the MENTION of CHICAGO, and the State of ILLINOIS, proves that the callers are up to no good! Most all of politicians from that state are either incarcerated, have been, or deserve to be. The citizens of that state elected these criminals, thus they are of the same types.
