took a call from some one calling himself "mike Williams"  that had a strong India accent claimed to be with advanced credit services, well some people are just gullible and so I believed him when he said I qualified for a $5,000 loan. he said I needed to go to CVS pharmacy and purchase a $120.00 green dot card to cover the paper work and transfer fees I did this and he said he just needed the number to clarify purchase, he put me on hold and a few minutes later told me he would call me back in a few minutes, he called back 4 times because he kept loosing service and stated because of my credit rating I needed to get another card for $80.00 in order to complete the loan, so I did, gave the number and he had me hold again, when he got back on he took my transfer info and said he would call back in 30 to 45 minutes. after doing so he said the funds had been transferred, called the bank and nothing. called him and he came up with another excuse. I told him I wanted my money back and he got loud with me and said I wasted his time and he would not refund a penny and hung up on me. got took for $200.00 and never got the loan. when running a check on him the number is a residential number in central Chicago, not a business of any type, to all you out there he will sound so professional and don't believe a word he says or accept the call. I got ahold of the authorities in Chicago and they are now investigating this matter. be warned he keeps calling from a magic jack service and will not stop calling back or give up. oh and mike Williams is the name of a pro football player.

We didn't answer the phone, it's a scam.  Thanks to Brett, we didn't fall prey.  It still is an unwanted call.

Did you really give someone money over the phone?
No wonder you need a loan.

Got an automated call no answer on other line except for a robot "goodbye" after 10 seconds. Don't answer, might be a identity theft scam.

This person calls repeatedly in an attempt to extort identifiable information with a false claim that "You have qualified for a Loan." Interestingly, I never applied for a loan. A phishing scammer

I just got a call from this number, they said they were Microsoft technical support.  He asked me to enter something into my computer  (didn't completely understand his broken English).  I told him I wasn't by my computer, he asked when I would be and I asked him for a number to call when it was convenient for me......he hung up.

I received a call from someone going by the name Mike Jenkins who has a strong accent with terrible broken English stating that I qualified for a $7,000 federal grant that doesn't need to be paid back. I told him I was not interested and to stop calling my phone. He tried to plead his case about this not being a scam. I told him I would report him to authories and he preceded to say, "I'll give you $7,000 to have sex with you" I was beyond furious and baffled. Scammers will be scammers and please do NOT fall victim to these low-life individuals who just wants to rob people of they're hard earned money. By the way, I've blocked almost 10 different numbers from these people. THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED....
