This number just called my cellphone, also in the 312 area code, with only half of a ring. I'm not doing any callback as that might begin the scam.

I got this call too...half a ring. Don't call back as this is a scam.

Call from this #, 11:37 EDT 10/15/2014. Almost called back as I have family in Chicago and I thought it might be one of them... Glad I googled it first.

"Missed" call on my cell. Goggled it and I'm not interested in returning the call. If it is a legit call they would have left a message. Looks like they don't want to spend money on a completed call but would rather you spent your money instead.

Same, half a ring from this number. If it was another area code I wouldn't care but I have connections in Chicago so I checked.

Yeah, I live in the deep South and have no connections in Chicago. Thanks I guess?

Same as the rest. Half a ring and then nothing. Googled the number as I assumed it was a telemarketer.

Got a call from this number, didn't leave a message.

Received half ring on 12/27/14 @ 4:25 CST. I'm glad I googled first. Those telemarketers are just waiting for some poor sucker to call back. Then you windup in the constant calls. Not this sucker.

I got a call from this number and answered it, no voice or anything when I picked up. Should I be worried?

Received a call  on my cell from 312-809-1458. at 8:15 PM Pacific time. It did not even ring just left a missed call tone. Did not call back. I am on the west coast and have no one in Chicago that would call me.

Same thing. Rang once. Know a few people in Illinois but glad I checked.

Missed call and they left no message so i checked them out.
