Called my cell phone, didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer ,left no message but irritating all the same.

Called my cell phone.  I answered and they hung up on me immediately.

Called my cell, no message. I think it may be because I recently registered a tax ID for my business.

I did answer after them calling 10 times and leaving no message, it was someone trying to sell a credit card machine.

all i have to say is most of the people who use this site, and that means YOU, are a bunch of stuck up no good snobby receptionists that think that you are WAY more important that you are. I am a business owner and you believe me CAN BE REPLACED.  I found my receptionist using this site and she was fired. slandering this business calling it a SCAM when she really has no idea. it was an indian gentleman who called, i called the company that out sources their lead generation to India and they have the lowest card processing fees in the nation. before you idiots go around using sites like this to slander businesses and call legitimate companies a scam and ruin peoples lives and jobs and reputations and hurt families do your research and dont pretend to know whatr you actually have no idea about. thanks. :)

How about you go f&ck yourself?  This site is not about slandering businesses.  It's about people trying to find out who is harassing them.  So I don't don't know what you are talking about but it sounds like you fired your imaginary secretary because she wouldn't put out.

First of all, slander is spoken, not written.

Nobody called this a scam, as was already pointed out. In fact, with the exception of one poster, nobody even mentioned what the call was about.

I would be more than happy to research this "company" if you would kindly provide me with the name of it ?

Good point, Willow.  But I don't think he would have known what 'libel' is either.

I hate hangups. Any reputable sales person would a) email instead of calling and b) leave a polite message.

Therefore: spam/scam or intrusive telemarketing at the very least....and exactly what this site is for!

No one wrote anything derogatory about the company calling. I have a right to be more critical of this credit card machine company calling than most. See, I've gotten no less than twenty different calls about the same thing in the past two weeks since getting a tax ID number, EIN. The reason for the tax number: my father's estate, which certainly ain't in need of unsolicited sales calls for a card machine. That being said: you and they are both a scams and sleeze balls.
