Got a call from this number today. Caller "Jeff" with the Prize Distribution Center informing me the "Grand Prize Sweepstakes Contest" I entered was over. I should call 1-800-821-2670 and speek with "David Mitchell" about my "good news". Funny, Jeff never mentioned whom he was calling just "you" have won a prize.

Called the 1-800 number, got a recorded message from David Mitchel for me to leave my name, number, and the state I was calling from and he would get back to me. I was using my cell phone to call number and just hung up. Called it two more times with the same result.

Don't know if it is a scam or a sales pitch, but it looks like this website has several very similar accounts only with different numbers. So just I'm just adding this one to the list.

I got a similar call today (2/5/08).  "Jeff" said he had good news in reference to the drawing I had entered to win a Lincoln Navigator.  Of course, I have never entered such a contest.  I didn't try calling back - figured they would just try to get me to pay them money for something I would never get.

They will want you to send them money first,
then they will say you will get money in return....
You should report to police.

they will want you to send them money...eg.  supposed taxes up front, delivery,

I also received a call from "Bill" who wanted me to call him back @1-800-504-6196 but he had called from 312-962-0071. He had great news about a contest regarding a Lincoln Navigator....I called but was greeted by an answering machine......

Bill called today wanting a call back to 1-800-996-0081 regarding winning a 2007 Lincoln Navigator from contest entry at Price Distribution Center.  I have not entered any contests!  Will not call back

"Matt" called from the "prize distribution center" about winning a lincoln navigator in the "grand sweeps giveaway".  He left a message to call that same 800 number and ask for "michelle".  I knew it was a scam but i hope they get caught.  losers.

We just got the same call. I just listened on the answering machine.We're not responding,ut would love to be off their list!

got a call from 312-962-0071 on a sunday afternoon, sunday is usually quiet for these kind of calls, i suspect these are the same guys who have called in the past about car warrantys, i have a list consisting of over 45 different numbers that they use to contact people, my only mistake and probably yours is that you answered your phone, now your on their list as a number that answers, good luck, and i suggest you do like i do and keep a list handy  so you won't  answer your phone when they call, it is endless, these annoying calls, wish it was possible to have a steel rod injected into their ears by me pushing the right button.. good luck people.

I got the same phone call from "MATT" to contact Michelle at 1-800-504-6196 for the Lincoln Navigator.  Seems like a scam. Hope they get caught!

Hello, this sucks because I did enter a Lincoln Navigator contest, when I entered the Hgtv contest right after that there is a contest for a Lincoln Navigator so I entered it, now I am really confused. I'll get this a hole one way or the other. Watch!!

also tonight 9 p.m....got call from 312 962 0237....stating I had won
a prize etc.......all nonsene....they asked me to call 800 504 6196 right
away and speak to Michelle......another scam of course....

Except this guy was Alex calling from the Price Distribution Center saying something about winning a Lincoln Navigator, about the contest was over and that he had " very good news" for me. Please call 800.821.3984, and ask for Michelle Bently What a scam! Don't call this number!!! The number that showed up on my caller ID was 312.962.0227 Chicago Il.

Thanks. I love the internet, got that call today on answering machine, went to the computer and look what i find. I figured it was a scam because I haven't entered any contests. Hope they get caught, I reported them to BBB but who knows.

They are now calling Arizona, I do not have caller ID.  But the tactic is the same: I received a call from Alex from the the Prize Distribution Center saying I had entered the "Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway" and he was glad to tell me I won something, even a Lincoln Navigator.  Asked me to call 1800-821-3984 and ask for Michelle Bentley.  I tried the number but reached a VMB asking me to leave my name, telephone number, and state I was calling.  I did not leave any information, I just hung up.  I called our Arizona Attorney General's Fraud Department and spoke w/Mr.Moreno and gave him all details of the call.  He said this was a scam and it would involve that company asking for money.  He said this is happening across the nation.  Be careful out there and warn your loved ones to be on the alert.  ps  Today there was another message from that same stating that I had left a message, but had not left my name or any information, and how can I expect them to look my prize up.  This time I left a message that they had been reported to our Az Atty General's Fraud Department.

I did not answer my cell because did not recognize number on my caller ID. They left me a message telling me I had entered an online contest to win a Lincoln Navigator and my email address was chosen as the winner, then asked me to call some 1-866 number to claim my prize. To sound convincing they cited my address and email. However, I know I did not enter any such contest. So, I came straight to this website and sure enough I found several other persons reporting the same type of call, not from the same exact number, but from the same area code (773)and same prefix (486. By the way, I ran the number through a reverse phone lookup web service and it comes back as a residential listing, not a business. Beware, this is very likely a scam. It does bother me somewhat that they had my address, email address and cellular tel number.

"Bill" called from the "Prize Distribution Center" that the contest I entered to win a 2007 Lincoln Navigator within the past couple of months was officially over and he was looking at my entry form so that was "good news" and "congratulations" so I should give them a "buzz back" at 1-800-996-0081 and the caller id # was 1-312-488-1851.  I called back, didn't leave my name on the answering machine since he didn't address my name when he called.  Scam written all over it!!

Got a call from "Trent Williams" congratulating me for winning a Lincoln Navigator, cash, and/or other prizes.  Trent asked me to call back as soon as possible at 866-313-8050 ext. 248.  Trent identified himself as a "Prize Coordinator".  Trent had a heavy midwestern accent.  Trent did not address anyone in the household by name. They are still working Arizona.

I was born at night but not last night!!!
