8:40am  phone  rings. I look and see caller ID says " out of area"  and I see a familiar ROBO style phone number.  Anything that starts with 313 followed by 209, you can bet it's a ROBO caller.  They use a block of other numbers that follow the 209....like 3766, 3765, 3764, 3768 etc.  The 3769 is new though. But it too has joined my CALL BLOCKER list of numbers these people are using.

They call wanting to ship my husband diabetic supplies and pain cream. They say they were contacted to send medical supplies. My husband is not diabetic and no one from here has called for supplies.  My caller id just says Michigan Call.

It's relatively new scam concept.  I've noticed that in the last 6 months, I've gotten calls on two different business lines and a cell phone calling about pain cremes or get your 'free' blood suger meter.  Neither myself, nor either of the businesses have diabetes.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Report your callers here, not just to the DNC alone:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

We could barely understand the caller. We asked over and over where he's from and we just couldn't understand him. He asked for my husband by name. He asked if he has diabetes and he does and what type of meter he uses and how many times a day he tests himself, who his primary doctor is and even is his doctor in the state of Michigan. No, we go to our doctor in Ohio! The caller said his company is for my husband's doctor to have more options. Options of what? The clincher was when the caller asked for my husband's Medicare number which is the Social Security Number. We told him no - that's the S.S. number and we don't even know who we're talking to. We told him never call us again and we hung up.
