They called me too. I didn't recognize the number so I went silent....they hung up.

I called the number back and it said Verizon Wireless National bill payment center.. But I'm on a family plan and am not the primary on the account, so no idea if it was real or not.

Just got a call from this number but didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message.

It is a fraudster tyring to obtain your VZW account information.  Do not answer the call and give them no information!!

Definitely a scam caller who of course didn't leave a message. It's "Verizon Payment Center" or something like that.  I haven't been with Verizon in about 10 years so there is no reason for the "Payment Center" to be contacting me. Idiots!

I just got a phone call from this number as well. I have a Verizon cell phone account. I didn't answer the call when it came in and they left no message so I thought I would check it out in this forum to validate my thoughts of this caller. Scammer indeed!

I just got a call from them and a recorded message claimed that I won a free trip to the Bahamas. I hung up.

I see a lot of people saying that it calls itself a Verizon payment center. I'm an AT&T customer, so it's definitely some kind of scam.

Just got a call this morning from them... said it was about student loan forgiveness. Weird.

Same here ATT customer, did not recognize the number so did not pick up.

Same here -- have MagicJack Plus and it was about taking a survey and winning a free cruise to the Bahamas.  Definitely a scam.

Just received a call them this number. It was a recorded voice that asked me questions and pretended not to understand me. Pretty original if you ask me. Asked me if I was at least 25..etc. Such a scam...immediately blocked them from future calls to my cell.

Didn't know the number.

Wow, sounds like this is a catch-all number for a lot of telemarketers. Have called me twice this morning--NEVER ANSWER.

Recorded call saying I'd won a cruise to the Bahamas. Came up as wireless caller.

Said I received a free cruise.  I hung up.  Really don't like unnecessary calls on my cell.

I got a call from this number late this morning.  I knew it was a scam.  I picked up really quick on the second ring, and said in a really loud and irritated voice, "HELLO! , HELLO!!".   They would not answer me.  What low-life jerks trying to prey on gullible people so that they can con them.      

Unknown caller, didn't leave message. From the looks of the other messages on here, glad I didn't bother to pick up.

This number called me today around 7pm< called it back not knowing who it was and it had a pre-recorded message of the verizon number is no longer in service, weird

Automated call stating I won a trip. I hung up within seconds after picking up the call.
